How to program your remotes on 00-06 tahoe suburban truck and trailblazer

Since it seems i answer this for people a few times a week here is how you program your keyless entry remotes on 00-06 chevrolet silverado tahoe suburban and trailblazer This will not work on the 00 limited or z71 tahoes that were still the older body style.
Get in vehicle close all doors
hold unlock down on drivers door switch while you turn key on off on off.
you should hear locks cycle (lock and unlock) and horn will sound.This lets you know vehicle is in programming mode.
Once in programming mode release unlock button. only need to enter programming mode once to program all your fobs.

Now we are ready to program your remotes!!!
Note you will need to program all your key fobs during this process

hold lock and unlock on key fob until locks cycle this usually takes about 15 seconds sometimes little longer.
When locks cycle fob 1 is programmed. now on to remaing fobs,

repeat with all fobs as it erases fobs when entering programming mode.
you can program up to 4 fobs per vehicle.

also your dealer has a tester to check remote and most will do this free of charge. some parts stores are also starting to carry a tester.Nice to know your remote is good before trying to program it.
