2010 Mitsubishi Outlander No Start, No Crank, No power locks, No radio, No communications with all modules

Disconnect negative battery cable for 2 minutes, with the ignition switch in the on position, re-connect negative cable. The alarm may go off, Use the unlock button on the remote to shut it off. Shut the hood and start the truck. Hope this works for you as well as it did for me after 2 hours of wasted diagnostics. Good Luck!

You can't remove alarms or bypass them, you have to fix them.

Disconnect the battery fully for at least 2 hours.
Hold the negative and positive leads together for 5 minutes.
PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION, but not turned on.
Connect the Positive lead to the battery.
Connect the Negative lead in one swift movement.
Wait 15 minutes for the ECM to re-pair the chips in the key and the ignition key.

Land Rover Discovery 1998.Replaced battery car still won't start.Alarm sound goes off when we try to start the car and the anti-lock comes on.Remote not working after changing remote battery as well.


Disconnect the battery for at least 2 hours. Hold the positive and negative battery leads together for 5 minutes to ensure the car's electrical system is fully discharged.

most important part ; PUT THE IGNITION KEY IN THE IGNITION! but not switched on.

Connect the positive lead. Connect the negative lead in one swift movement. Tighten the clamps.

Leave the vehicle for 15 minutes to pair the chip in the key and the chip in the ignition lock, and reset the Engine Control Module and Immobilizer.

You need to re-check your ignition wiring. Here is the wiring for the alarm.

Ignition Module REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
  2. Separate the wiring harness connections.
  3. Unbolt the igniter.
  4. Loosen the nut holding the wire lead onto the coil.
  5. Tag and disconnect the wire lead.
  6. Lift the igniter off its mount.
  7. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Ignition Coil TESTING 1994–95 Models
  1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Wait at least 90 seconds from the time the negative battery was disconnected to start work. CAUTION
    Work must be started after 90 seconds from the time that the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position and the negative battery cable is disconnected from the battery.
  2. Using a 5mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 cap nuts and the V-bank cover. Fig. 1: Remove the V-bank cover, a 5mm hexagon wrench will be needed — 1MZ-FE engine 89552g58.gif

  3. Disconnect the ignition coil wiring from the coil being tested. Fig. 2: Disconnect the ignition coil wiring from the component being tested — 1MZ-FE engine 89552g59.gif

  4. Insect the primary coil resistance using an ohmmeter. Measure the resistance (cold) between the positive and negative terminals. Resistance should be between 0.54–0.84 ohms. Fig. 3: Attach an ohmmeter to the positive and negative terminals of the coil — 1MZ-FE engine 89552g60.gif

  5. If the resistance is not within specifications, replace the ignition coil.
  6. Reattach the ignition coil wiring.
  7. Reinstall the V-bank cover. Push on the cover until a click is felt, then tighten the cap nuts.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. Reset any digital equipment such as radio memory and the clock if necessary.

need to replace blower motor in 98 b2500


(1)If vehicle is equipped with airbags, disarm the airbag system. To do this, turn the ignition switch to OFF position. Detach the cable from the negative battery terminal, then detach the positive cable. Wait two minutes for the electronic module backup power supply to be depleted. To enable the system, turn the ignition switch to OFF position. Connect the positive cable first, then connect the negative.
(2)Disconnect the blower motor connector.
(3) Remove the blower motor mounting screws and remove the motor.
(4)Remove the blower motor wheel hub pushnut and the clamp from the shaft. Pull the blower motor wheel from the shaft.
(5) Installation is the reverse of these steps.
