In the diagram for rear lamp, the top wires are voltage, the bottom black wire is ground. The brown wire on either side should be tail lamps, goes hot when you turn on the headlamp switch. The other top wire on either should be for turn signal. With everything turned on, is there voltage on that wire?
Because the front works and the rear don't, possible wiring circuit problem? The voltage for turn signals comes from bcm. The bcm knows when you turn on turn signal switch, either side, then the bcm sends voltage to turn signal lamp at the rear and front.

You have a short to ground on that circuit , find a wiring diagram an see what all is on that fuse . So far I see the ignition switch an starter relay ! Does it blow right away when you replace it or do you have to turn on the ignition switch ?

sounds like temp sensor at fault.i would take it to a ac specialist or chevy dealer.to get it diagnosed as they will have the relevant diagnostic software etc to pin point the fault. problem is that everything needs to work properly in system as one fault will bring up other problems etc

need to look at your coolant temp sensor, not the gauge, and see what is showing on a scanner...

It is posible that the temperature blend door actuator is stuck in the cold position. Do you hear a clicking when switching the temperature?

Has the fuel pressure bled off from the fuel injectors? A bad regulator will let that happen. Have you tried spraying some wd40 into the air intake and trying to start it?

It didn't come with an edelbrock so any diagram will be incorrect. I've done thousands of carbs and I can't figure out why someone would remove the Rochester carb that was built Specifically for this engine and replace it with a generic big name carb. GM spent millions designing this carb don't throw it away. Just sayin. I hope this helps. Take care.

Being unfamiliar with the model I don't know but the temperature sensor isn't usually difficult to spot.
Generally fitted high on the engine at the top of the cylinder head, at the side of the cylinder head, below the thermostat or in the water heated intake manifold are the common mounting places...
