Hazard light inoperable. Do you have to go into the steering column to remedy the problem since the hazard button is on the steering column?

the hazard switch will usually just prise out to be checked , very gently with a flat blade screwdriver and protect the trim with a piece of cloth between the screwdriver and steering cowling , work your way around switch gently lifting as you go , the problem may well be else where so i'd pop into a pontiac dealer for a chat and see if there are any known issues before doing the switch removal, your choice

Engine having trouble getting enough fuel because it does not pick up speed

How do you know it is not getting enough fuel? Any lean codes set? Backfiring? There could be many other reasons it will not pick up speed such as leak in the hose from MAF to throttle body, bad TPS, bad coil/module. If it is fuel starved, change fuel filters and test pressure while driving.

When driving the car surges or kicks and bucks

Classic signs of transmission trouble. First I would inspect the transmission fluid. It should be pink or light red. If your transmisson fluid is ok, then its probably the transmisson control module. Dark fluid with a burned smell indicates worn clutches/overheated transmission. Changing the fluid and filter might help, but the transmission is already severly worn and will not last very much longer. Transmission replacement is definatly in order.

Steering wheel is out of alignment all of a sudden

That means you have knocked something out of place, or bent something on your car's steering linkages. This needs to be checked out right away. If you don't you will at the very least ruin your front tires and possibly have an accident when whatever is damaged breaks.

I got a 09 pontiac g6 wont start.there is no crank no clicks when i turn the ignition on but the engine light is on

You have know idea how the starting system works , an with the engine light on your best bet would be to have it towed to a qualified repair shop . When the ignition switch is turned to the Start position, the body control module (BCM) receives battery voltage on the ignition 1 voltage circuit, and less than 5 volts on the off/run/crank voltage circuit. The BCM supplies voltage to energize the RUN/CRANK Relay 32. The BCM sends a high speed GMLAN serial data message to the engine control module (ECM) that the key is in the start position. The ECM receives the message from the BCM, and also receives a serial data message from the transmission control module (TCM) containing the shift lever position. If the shift lever is in Park or Neutral when ignition switch is turned to Start, the ECM supplies voltage to the START Relay 31. The START relay supplies voltage to the S terminal of the starter solenoid, through the 30 A STRTR Fuse 26, in order to crank the engine.

2007 Pontiac G6 GT. The passing gear is not working?

Question edited for clarity, correct order, 'year make model'. Not sure what you mean by 'passing gear', because there isn't one! Do you mean 'kick down', which you shouldn't be using to pass, because it means that you are leaving passing too late. https://www.google.com/search?q=2007+Pontiac+G6+GT.+The+passing+gear+is+not+working Automatic gear changing is dictated by the PCM. The only way to diagnose is to get an auto electrician. A Professional Grade scan tool computer can diagnose shift solenoids by instructing them to operate and verify that they did. https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me ..
