This code is for the electronic throttle system. There might be other codes listed when you scanned the vehicle that might give you more clues as to exactly what is wrong. Comment with them and I'll try to help you further.

This job will depend entirely on the actual engine you are working on and how much experience you have working on engines. Diesels are slightly different to gasoline as diesels need to be set up more accurately compared to gasoline. The best advice is that if you are in ANY doubt take the car to a Good Mechanic and pay them to do it.
To do this you will need to strip the Top half of the engine down. I would seriously recommend you buy a good quality workshop manual before you begin as that will help with the method needed and the torque settings you'll need for putting it back together.
You will need to drain the engine of oil and coolant, and the rocker cover for that side of the engine. Any timing belts/chains will need to be removed so you will need to set the engine to Top Dead Centre on cylinder 1 BEFORE you start and note the position of the timing marks used. You may also have to remove valve rockers depending on whether the engine is an 'overhead valve' or an 'overhead cam' type.
It is a lot of work but not difficult if you take your time doing it. It will take at least 1 full day to do. My first took 2 days.

There two places where fuses and relays can be found 1 in the engine bay just above the battery there is a flat square box. Lift the lid from The lower right corner. 2. There is a panel on the dash at about knee height between the steering wheel and the door. Grip in the middle and pull up. The door relay/fuse should be labelled door control.

Rough idling can also be caused by clogged filters. ... Bad spark plugs, bad spark plug wires and a bad distributor cap are other common causes of rough idling. These items are all important parts of what keeps a vehicle running. Spark plugs provide the spark that ignites the air and fuel mixture within the cylinders.

The fuse box for the lights and other electrical accessories will be found on the left side of the instrument panel. Inside the box you will find a list showing the circuits protected by each fuse. If any of your car's lights or other electrical accessories stop working, a blown fuse could be the reason.
