A/C and Heater, Drivers side airbag light
For bower fan check:
- Speed controller assembly of blower fan.
- Wiring harness and fuse
- Blower fan.
To solve the air bag light problem retrieve the SRS error codes with the help of diagnostic computer and follow the description.
You can also check the error codes manually as described below.
Procedure:
Read the blinking patterns of the DTCs. As examples, the blinking patterns for the normal system code and DTCs 11 and 31 are shown in the following diagram. The first blinking pattern indicates the first digit DTC. The second blinking pattern occurs after a 1.5-second pause. If there are two or more DTCs, there is a 2.5- second pause between each DTC. After all DTCs are shown, there is a 4.0-second pause, and they are all repeated.
HINT:
• If 2 or more malfunctions are found, the indication begins with the lowest numbered DTC.
Finding the oxygen sensor
Hello, there are two sensors, an air/ fuel ratio sensor and an oxygen sensor, the #1 or a/f sensor is in the exhaust manifold near the firewall, the #2 or oxygen sensor is behind the catalytic converter.
A/c smells funny it seems like the clutch is out
Is system blowing cold air? if low gas system will blow warm and smell, When was the cabin filter last replaced, the cabin filter is used for inside air, make sure its clean, I would start by having the system checked to make sure the gas is full and dye added so if system goes warm again the dye will show the leak.
Code p2716
This is a common problem on corollas and matrix, it's an engine control module (ECM) malfunction, toyota has issued a recall on them, visit the toyota dealer to get the ECM replaced at no charge, there is no time or mileage limit.
My "low tire" light stays
One of the sensors in the tires is bad or it is stopped up with dirt. You will have to find which one it is (trial and error) and have it replaced.
