oxygen sensor (O2S) 1 bank 1 positive current---circuit low====causes ---wiring short to ground ---O2S
HO2S 1 bank 1--implausible signal===causes ---wiring---short to positive ---short to ground ---HO2S---ECM
as the heated oxygen sensor is common with wiring problems indicated , maybe changing it will fix the code

Have a code P1138 on 2003 Toyota Tundra - how do I fix ?
Swirl Control Valve Control System Performance Repair Importance Level: 3/3 Repair Difficulty Level: 2/3 Possible causes - Faulty Swirl Control Valve Control Position Sensor - Swirl Control Valve Control Position Sensor harness is open or shorted - Swirl Control Valve Control Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection - Faulty Swirl Control Valve What does this mean? Possible symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) P1138 Description While idling and during low engine coolant temperature, the swirl control valve closes, Thus the velocity of the air in the intake passage increases, promoting the vaporization of the fuel and producing a swirl in the combustion chamber. Because of this operation, this system tends to increase the burning speed of the gas mixture, improve fuel consumption, and increase the stability in running conditions. Also, except when idling and during low engine coolant temperature, this system opens the swirl control valve. In this condition, this system tends to increase power by improving intake efficiency via reduction of intake flow resistance, intake flow. The swirl control valve is operated by the Engine Control Module (ECM).

How to check a coil pack with a multimeter
Th?r? is two thing to check... Primary Coil r?sistance and secondary. The primary is checked by measuring the ohms between the positive and n?gative terminal. And the secondary is by using the positive lead and the spark plug connector. On Toyota cars the tol?rance is 15%. Check all your coils with your multimeter on ohms and the one that your values are completely off the others is your d?fective Coil.

How do I replace the seal on the front differentail of a 2003 tundra
First you must mark the position of the big nut with a small chisel so you can get it back the same as it now is. Count the number of threads showing beyond the face of the nut. Remove driveshaft and lock the yoke in place using a big pipe wrench or something similar with a pipe over the end wedged against the ground or truck frame. Use an air gun if possible to loosen the nut. A breaker bar and cheater pipe may also be used. Remove yoke with drain pan underneath to catch fluid. Carefully pry old seal out (there are special tools made for this, but a big screwdriver will work if you are careful not to damage the area the seal rides in. Put some gear oil or grease inside the lip of the new seal and install it using a seal driver or big socket being carefull not to damage seal. Clean yoke and reinstall. Put some RTVunder big washer to prevent leaks and reinstall nut. Tighten it untill same # of threads show as when begun and marks you made with chisel line up. Top up fluid lost, reinstall driveshaft and done. One other thing, I usually mark the driveshaft and yoke to put them back as they were lined up.

How do you search for codes
no symptoms posted,
post the good and bad,or ugly
then and only then is a pictured formed, that points to smart testing.
codes, i guess you mean how to use a scan tool?
any modern tool will work on your car, even cheap ones.
use a reals scan tool ,code readers or for kids. (and the blind )
by blind that means,it blinds you (ham strung)
so you picked the most expensive and hard nasty job first.
why do millions do that? for a $20 pressure gauge.
we can fix it, but you never posted symptoms.
open a text file on desktop
then type all the good and bad things it does
cut (Control C) and paste it here.
that way you have a record of problem and guessed parts.
so you can post on any forum and not type it 10 times.
yes , beg /barrow, rent /buy a scan tool
the scan it.
or have any shop do that for free.
if it still can move... does it?
