My Rav4 did the same thing and I am posting all over the forums what fixed mine. It was a bad fuse! It was a 10amp fuse that had gone bad on my 2001 rav4 base model 2.0 2x4. I hope this helps someone before they spend too much!

Check your fuel pressure at the Schrader valve (test port) on the engine's fuel rail. Just hook up a fuel pressure gauge and turn the key to on. If below specs, either your pump is weak and failing or your fuel filter is clogged. I believe Autozone (and others) have a loan-a-tool policy. You pay a deposit and get the gauge, and when you return the tool you get your deposit back.

Hi It sounds to me like a minor Issue rather than a major one try changing the Transmission Oil and if its got one also the Panel filter that is located in the bottom of the gearbox once the sump cover has been taken off depending on what Vehicle it is. Hope this helps Regards NIck

can you just check your fuel pressure valve and tank vet relay and get back me thanks would help diagnose problem.

The lights are not parking lights they are DRL's "Daytime running lights" and they are designed to stay on.

All I can say is he left something disconnected.

Check the injectors

If it spins over fast like there is no resistance at all then you have a bigger issue. Could be dropped valve, timing, warped head, etc. The amount of compressioninside the cylinder will not allow it to spin over freely and fast.

there is a hole in the cam gear that if you look through it with a mirror and light you should see a small notch in the cam cap. on the crank gear there is a small divot between the teeth just to the left of the keyway notch that should align with a small dimple on the oil pump cover

Rediator fan should turn on when the temperature sensor goes overs certain value. Probably when you are using a heater, outside temperature is quiet low and air cooling helps to keeps water temperature lower then the minimum to turn the fan one. Now , this is just a guess! To se sure, turn on your car parked and check the temperature. If goes over the value where fan should turn on, you've got a problem with the termostat or the relay.By the way, why do you repeat your question? To the same question you'll get the same ansewer.
