Where is the fuel pressure regulator on a 2000 Toyota Camry

A faulty fuel pressure regulator may result in engine misfires, reduction in power, poor acceleration, and a decrease in fuel efficiency. That said, the symptoms can also take place owing to other mechanical issues. The Fuel Pressure Regulator is attached to the fuel pump and that whole assembly is located in the gas tank, beneath the rear seat. AFAIK there is only the one unit, not one for each bank. You can test to see if you have sufficient fuel pressure at the fuel filter. copy and paste https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-fuel-pressure-regulator-2328074170

2000 Camry highbeam shorted while driving and no longer works. both headlights working fine low beam only. can anyone tell me exactly if fuse or relay?? If so which one please?

More than likely its a fuse but I am not looking at your service manual, it would be rather simple to locate if the original markings are still in the car. Wherever the fuse box is locate it, whatever housing it is inside should have a diagram with description of the orientation and values of the fuses. Look for 1 that says Headlights/ lights/or high beams, locate and remove the fuse, check if it needs replacing and replace it. Honestly it sounds like you need a new left high beam but I answered your question. There is a method of deduction that can help you figure out whats wrong before acting on any resolution, you should consult an expert that you can speak directly to and even share video. https://www.6ya.com/mr.mike thats only if you need the extra help. Thank for your visit and have a great night Mr.Mike

Need to know where the inline fuse is located on a 2000 camrry ce ignition switch

There are three fuses involved that supply the ignition switch voltage, the 120A alternator fuse, this fuse powers the smaller AM1 and AM2 fuses, then the voltage goes from there to the ignition switch

Back up light not working

hello, the back up lights are usually on the same fuse as the tail lights so if they are working it's not a fuse, if the tail lights are not working replace the tail fuse. Otherwise the problem is most the backup light switch, on the manual transmission it's a separate switch located on the transmission on an automatic it is incorporated into the neutral start switch also located on the transmission but on the shaft where the shift selector attaches.

I have a 2000 Toyota camry 4 cyl the car

For many of the 90's and 2000's Toyota various models - Camry, Tacoma, 4 Runners, Corolla, and some other models overheating is usually caused by temperature sensitive fan switch on the radiator not operating. Electric fan on the radiator should operate when temp above 200 degrees. Less often the control relay 90987-03003 is defective. Check if bubbling in the radiator smells like exhaust. That would indicate a blown head gasket. A jumper wire from your marker light positive to the lower contact in the fan control relay socket will operate your fan when parking lights are on. The larger vehicles with more powerful radiator fans will need a hefty jumper from a headlight positive to avoid overheating the lighting wiring. Make sure the engine is off and warmed up to check the radiator core with your hand to see if it is getting circulation. If it is all cold the thermostat might be stuck.

HOW TO REPLACE THE PISTON INTO THE CYLINDER SLEEVE

the pistons can be installed from the bottom of the cylinder where there should be a chamfer ( use a ring compressor here makes the job easier--on the bench) once you have the piston in the cylinder then install the assembly into the block taking care to ensure that the piston is at the top of the cylinder so that the big end doesn't damage the crank journal as you slide the cylinder down into the block I take it that the engine is a diesel ( wet sleeves) so check the liner to block face height before fitting because if the cylinder lip is too low , it will blow head gaskets make sure that the piston is orientated correctly , the same as the others

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry with 220k miles. The

Yup, any time you give it throttle after it goes into overdrive it will shutter like that, and have a miss at idle. This is called a dead cylinder and happens to a LOT of vehicles nowadays. Meaning it's a common situation. Have each injector checked with an ohm-meter. The one that reads low is faulty. If none read low and all are the same, you have a bad exhaust valve and it's needing attention. Have a compression test done with all the spark plugs out to find which has very low compression. That would be the "dead Cylinder".

the type of sensors you need in that state will be available from the service dealer spares or auto spares shops as for the number there is one HO2S ( heated oxygen sensor ) in the exhaust manifold /pipe before the cat converter for each bank) and one o2 ( oxygen sensor) sensor after the cat converter for each bank each type of sensor does a specific job and are not interchangable it is best if you buy the correct socket tool to remove the sensors as the wires are delicate and are easily damaged while installing the new units
