Hi, I own Toyota Emina Estima TD permanent

There may be more to it.. Transmission- P.T.O(Front wheels)-Rear Differential(Rear wheels). Or may have Transmission-Transfercase drives front differential(Front wheels) and rear differential(Rear wheels). So if one was rebuilt there should still be another that is still the root of the problem. Find out what exactly was rebuilt.

Hi where is the rear fog light switch on an n reg

It can be absolutely anywhere. Rear fogs are not required in Japan, and the Lucida was a Japanese-only model. When they get exported outside Japan to territories like UK/Europe where rear fog lights are compulsory the importer or retailer usually just fits a cheap rear fog light kit and mounts the switch almost anywhere as long as there is a warning light visible to the driver.

Better quality conversions will replace the Lucida's lighting stalk with the one fitted to the Previa; this has a rotating collar which acts as the fog light switch and sometimes the job is done even more properly and the instrument binnacle from a Previa is also fitted. This then means that the warning light is with the other instruments as per a Previa and if you're in the UK/Republic of Ireland the speedo in is mph.

96 previa was smoking but went away then after 40

this sounds like your head gasket has blown this would be the reason why you have cream colored water, this is oil in the water and loosing water is also a sign of head gasket , a creamy residue on the oil filler cap is also a sign, overheating is defiantly a sign if you have the other 2 all three points to head gasket, you will possibly need the head skimmed now as well...hope this helps

WHERE IS THE FUSE BOX IN A 1996 TOYOTA PREVIA?

... ALMOST all cars. In the Previa, it's in the top center of the dashboard just above the radio. If you look closely, there is a little tab above the radio that lifts upward and allows the fusebox cover to lift up, revealing the fusebox. Weird place, but actually quite handy.

I have a toyota previa gx 1996 orange light seems to stay on

not to many local independent repair shop will have the right equipment to test or do correct diagnostic. same way if you have bone problems, you want to go see the bone specialist not an eye doctors, Engine service light could mean one or many things, I would recommend take it to Toyota Dealer and have them do proper diagnostic, Will cost you 70 to 85 bucks, its lot cheaper than guessing and buying parts and hope that will be the right one. Once they do diagnostic they will tell you what it need and you can do the work replacing the part your self. good luck

Every so often you turn the key and nothing

It could be that the switch thats connected to your starting key is worn. Ive seen that before.I would buy a new switch and replace it. Before you work on replaceing the switch, put the car in a cool shady place, disconnect the battery and dont be in a hurry.
I hope this helps.

95 previa SC tranny slipping after flush?

Previa ECMs CANNOT be 'reflashed". Whoever told you that the SC is programmed to 'choke' is lying to you; there is no such thing. That is the same with the slip, the engine cannot cause the trans to slip. Get another opinion from a credible mechanic. The one you have has no clue.

How I can change the red back lights?

Hi,

In the trunk directly behind both light assemblys, inside the trunk, there should be a little door to open and access the lights... if I am not recalling this model perfectly sometimes they are attached by 10mm bolts from the inside and pull out towards the exterior of the car (I believe its the first one)

The lights built into the TRUNK can be replaced in a similar manner, the "garnish" that covers them easily "pops" off and allows access to the bulbs.

I hope this has been helpful

Good Luck & Thanks,
Shiv.
