where is the engine number

Sounds like plugs or plug wires. Replace all and see if it fixes problem. It might also be fuel relay system (fuel pump, filter, etc), but I would start with plugs and wires.

If the idle is not consistent, I strongly suggest that you replace the MAF (mass air flow) sensor. If the MAF is faulty the idle tends to be erratic and sometimes may result to stalling. It is located on the throttle body and replacement can resolve the issue.

Has the fuel filter been changed? If not, could have lots of sediment in the filter that might cause engine to stall, and then restart. Does the engine restart right away? Is the engine hot when it happens? Has the fuel pump been replaced yet? Possible cause also, Injectors might be blocked. Possible might be the ignition module on the distributer gets hot, and then shuts down. M.A.P (master air pressure ) comes off the EGR with a small hose to a small sensor. Also, M.A.F. ( master air flow ) not working properly. This is in the air intake around the filter. Has the air filter been checked? Does the EGR valve work properly? Might need to be cleaned. So you have to eliminate all the above written factors one by one.

the bars that go from the bed to the to of the roof are not support bars they are for show or to add lights to im guesing they are chrome or black

check wiring with voltmeter with key on. or bad ground to tank?

Check if the filler and drain plug is tightened, aswell as the reverse and 4wd(light indicator) switches on the gearbox is not leaking through the section where the wiring enters the switch, check the tail end of the g/box rhere the the drive/prop. shaft enters the g/box, a oil seal is located there and on the transfer case driveshaft driving the front wheels.

hello, it sounds like the alternator is the problem, most auto parts stores can check the alternator/charging system at no charge without removing it from the truck, I'm sure you will find that the alternator needs to be replaced.

is it petrol? if yes change ht leads and coil pack. misfire should clear.

replace the globe as it may be burnt out.
