HAVING TROUBLE DISCONNECTING FUEL
25yr toyota tech and toyota says not to change this metal filter unless it has been contanminated with like water, rust or sugar and so on. you are probably seeing that the lines are hard to get to screw out and the nuts are starting to round off. if it has not been contanminated and you can get it tightened back up i would leave it alone or you will probably be replacing some lines. good luck and if i can help any futher let me know.................

I have a 1995 toyota
Hi,
I think the ground wire to engine body might also been disconnected!
Check on that then tell us afterwards!
I have 1995 toyota
I would check all the fuses first (on the left engine compartment) there is a 80amp fuse for high current...hope this helps you ??
1995 Toyota Tacoma will not
How I figure these things out is by spraying water on items under the hood, when the engine kills you have found your problem area. You may have to do this a couple times to verify exactly which part is failing. Good luck.
My 1995 Toyota Tacoma LX 2.4L makes a metallic
Sounds like a wheel bearing. Jack each corner of truck in air and grab top and bottom of tire and see how much it moves. If it moves anymore than a little you have a bad wheel bearing.
Engine running very rough, dealer code says
That's a good place to start. Check to see if the EGR vacuum diaphragm is able to hold a vacuum. If not, the diaphragm is leaking air into the intake stream and leaning out the mixture so much that you have misfiring. If it holds vacuum, check for other vacuum lines to be off or it may be an intake manifold gasket leak.
I have a P0301 CODE
That code is "cylinder number 1 misfire". You can check for a bad spark plug by switching the number one spark plug with number two. If code 0302 comes up (misfire on 2), then the problem followed the bad No. 1spark plug over to cylinder 2. Replace the bad plug. If the code stayed the same, then it could be a bad spark plug cable. try switching the cable to another cylinder to again, see if the problem follows. A non-firing fuel injector will be silent. The others will make regular clicking noises that you can hear better if you place the tip of a screwdriver on the injector and put the end of the handle against your ear. (An automotive stethoscope works even better!) These are the first simple steps to take.
I'm trying to change my fuel filter on a 1995
Try soaking it down with WD-40 and letting it sit for a bit. Usually you can heat up a sticky screw/bolt and get it to break, but since youre next to the gas tank, its not recommended.
1995 toyota tacoma has p0336 trouble code need
The code is for the crank shaft position sensor. The problem may however be in the wiring to the sensor ie. corrosion at a connector, the sensor may be fouled by debris from the chain or carbon deposits from urban driving or extended service intervals.
I suggest:
1.Check wiring to the sensor & all connections.
2.Check that the sensor is secure and that the crank pulley bolt is tight.
3.Remove the sensor to check if it is fouled up. Also check for damage to the sensor tip (magnetic), or cracks in the sensor itself.
If you need to replace the sensor and a new one is pricey or hard to come by, you should be fairly safe with a used one, as these do not fail often.
P0170 and possible solution please
po170 and it is fuel air metering,( system to lean ). the cause is--could be a bad or dirty maf sensor,it just may need cleaning. the sensor can be cleaned to check for an improvement, but the sensor itself leaks fluid which causes dirt to stick to the wire. if no fix, check vacuum lines.
