If the lifters are so bad that wynns will not help then replace the lifters as they do wear out after 100.000 miles

find a bottle of wynns engine friction addative and run it in the engine. Get from any auto spares shop

If you replaced the gasket,you dont need RTV sealant, be careful how tight you make those bolts. 10 INCH pounds is enough! Not foot lbs!!!

Go on eBay and get an owner's manual. Also, Chilton or Haynes manual may have the info you need - purchase at auto parts store like Autozone or Advanced Auto or NAPA.

go to Toyota and see if you get a page down load for the headlight assy, from the parts department Other than that get a work shop manual ( after market) and see if that is what you are after.

It's probably the switch that tells the car that there's key in the ignition, and YES you want it hooked up. Without it, you will get no ding or buzzer when you leave your key in the ignition, and you can lock your keys in. Now, that's based on the little amount of info we have about it, but generally, the manufacturers don't put switches in that aren't important. That one is, and so it would not be a good idea to mess with it. Buy a Hanes Manual for your vehicle, and you can find out for sure. Also, they're great for learning about vehicles and how to fix them.

Hi Jose, The knock sensor, is usually located under the intake manifold on the lowest part of the cylinder head. It controls the ignition timing firing point, by adjusting the timing. It is not unusual for the connection to become loose, so check the connection before buying a new part. Regards John

you prolly want to check fuses first. If not solved then a continuity test needs to be done for hidden loose wires "a short' underneath the center console is where (on that model ) the wires are channled to their destination...

90% of the time it is the distributor or coil, are you sure you have a good distributor, the other thing would be the timing belt, is the dist spinning when you crank the engine? make sure the timing belt did not pop.this car also uses an igniter , if i remember correctly, but they do not not go bad often but could be.
