Just go to the dealership and order keys based on the VIN Number. Or a local locksmith can impression a key and cut you one freehand. You are making this a lot harder than it is. You need a key.

wow old and still on the road that old, rare here, USA. the charge lamp means the Aternator is failing causes are. 1: belt slips to it or belt missing 2: wire to it fell off. or burned, cut etc. 3: fuse huge 50amp blown under hood. 4:the alternator is bad. 5:engine trouble such that RPM is 500 rpm AT IDLE AND THE ALTERNATORS JUST DO NO LIKE THAT. ALL YOUR STATED EVIDENCE IS 100% NORMAL FOR DEAD ALT. charge up the battery and drive to a shop and tell them to fix the ALT. they even test it.

I think the overfilling indeed is causing some oil burning on startup when clearances are wider. Drain it down to the right level, by taking out the sump plug for a second or 2. You can do that with the engine cold, but use a dead clean catch container in case some oil has to go back in.

Have you checked cam timing?If it has jumped a tooth or two it will not start.

Hi Sounds like the ignition barrel has failed. If you replace any part you must ensure that the key and the transducer ring are matched. If not, the immobiliser will come on and you will never start the car. Get a diagnostic test to verify the immobiliser is turning off. Roger

Probably the temperature sending unit...if not that the relays...they should be relatively cheap and easy to replace...

Try installing a jumper across the N/O terminal at the relay socket. Temp sensor in the radiator or in the thermostat housing supplies the signal for the relay the other relay signal is supplied by A/C in on position. both fans will run continuous with A/C on. One fan runs intermittent relative to water temp. Be careful not to blow a head gasket. If you leave the jumpers in place, the fans will stop when the ignition is turned off, save the engine until you isolate the relay signal problem. then simply remove jumpers and reinstall the relays

If it ran prior to removing the distributor, it maybe 180 degrees out. Remove the cap, leave the rotor in place, loosen the bolt and lift it up,turn rotor until it is on the opposite side and place it back in.

The manual crank has a u shaped clip that holds it in place to the crank pulley. U may need a special tool to open the clip and slide it off so you can remove the handle.

It sounds to me not enough fuel getting to engine.could be a fuel pressure problem.Maybe a faulty fuel pump.or could also be a faulty idle sensor.Just a few possibilities Good Luck :)
