Engine won't start
Check to make sure you are getting voltage to the small post on the starter solenoid when the key is turned to the "crank" position. if so, check all of you connections on the battery cables. If your connections are all good, your cables are in good shape, and you still do not get the starter to crank, I would have the starter removed and tested.

2004 Toyota tacoma Pre runner 4 door AC works fine
You have a problem wit the air temperature control blend or the blend door actuator motor, most times both are defective. The parts are located deep in the dash and as such the dash assembly must be removed to service the parts.

A/C not cooling
Have you checked the AC pressures? The low side should be 28-32 PSI. When you say coolant do you mean the AC refrigerant? or the engine coolant?

Son put diesel into gas tank.
Depending on how much he put in and how much gas was in the tank it may be able to run but will blow blue smoke If there is too much diesel then it wont run and you have to have the tank pumped out or drained There should be no mechanical damage to it

How do I replace a tension pulley on Toyota tocoma pick up
Before replacing anything be sure of the problem. A siezed AC compressor or damaged crank pulley could also be the cause. If it is the tensioner pulley, remove the 14mm nut on the front of the pulley and it comes right off. The new part should come with a new plate that goes behind the nut. You can re-use the stud that the adjusting bolt threads into if it is not damaged. If your motor is a 5VZ, be sure to not over-tighten the drive belts or it could develop a rod knock.
