Wheel bearing on my 2000 echo
You have to remove your wheel, suspension arm and track rod from the hub then remove wheel hub. You then remove the bearing from it and fit a new one, sounds easy? It isn't. Unless you have the correct tools and equipment I advise you get a mechanic to fix this one or you could mess up the new bearing. Tools needed: Various spanners and sockets, hammers, ball joint splitter, hydraulic press and various drifts, Puller and maybe a grinder.
While filling up our 2000 Toyota Echo at the gas
this is becoming a common problem, what is going on with your car is that as you fill the fuel tank you have to displace the air inside the tank( as the fuel goes in the air has to come out ) this is done by the purge system, as the fuel goes in the air is displaced threw a purge canaster the canster trapes any fuel vapers that are in the displaced air and as you are driving the car the vapors are burned by the engine, this canister is either pluged or the valve that opens and closes the canister is stuck so as you fill the tank the air can not get out so you get back pressure in the fill neck and this causes the pump to shut off, bottom line you need to have the purge system checked. it might be a bad canister or a bad switch could also be one of the hoses to the canaster, heres the bad news to replace almost anything on the system the fuel tank will have to be removed and that can be expenceve....sorry
Which fuse runs the lights on the dashboard? fuel
This is the PARK LAMP fuse . So check this out on the under side of the dash and use a nose plier to pull the fuse out to be replaced by the spare in the box.
If the fuse seems ok, then check the harness, connectors to the dashboard cluster or the lamps within the dash.
