1993 Toyota Paseo - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
1993 toy paseo starting issue
When you twist the key to start, and solenoid is working, the power goes directly to the cable on the other side of the solenoid. If the starter does not turn the engine over, and you KNOW the solenoid is good, then you have a bad cable connection at the solenoid or starter OR the starter itself needs attention. After power goes thru the solenoid, no relay is required. JUST 12 volts.

My 15 amp gauge fuse keeps blowing when im driving
what does this 15A power?if the slot calls for a 15A, don't go bigger, but look for a shorted wire/loose connection for whatever that fuse powers. ex: 15A fuse for my lighter keeps popping..... Nevermind, I found a dime stuck in the lighter that caused it. hope it's not a hard one to track, but let me know and I'll help ya think on the solution.

92 Paseo starts fine each
If you only get 1 click per key turn, sounds like the copper contact plate in the starter solenoid is worn. If you keep trying to start it and it eventually turns over click after click, then it more than likely time for a starter, or a starter rebuild if you're handy. The kits are available online for under $40

My 1996 model EL54 Toyota
Not the throttle sensor (tps) remove the Idle air control (iac), High RPM's are caused from vaccumn leaks, you have a computor, put Autozone in the search, enter info on the car and search for the part, you will now know what it looks like, IAC and TPS are located at the throttle body, remove and clean with throttle body cleaner purchased at your local auto parts store
