Need to get under hood hood release doesnt open

Hello. I recommend that you start by having a friend help you push down on the hood at the same time you try to pull on the release. If that doesn't work, it may be possible to grab the release cable from under the car and release the hood. Otherwise, you may end up having to remove the grill in order to get to it, not a fun job at all. All of that said, drive it to a Walmart and have the oil changed. If they can open it to change the oil, ask them how to they did it and have them lubricate the hood release while they are at it. Good luck with it.

The release cable is broken and need to get under

Take the cable that is broken and hold it with pliers. use another pair of pliers to pull the inner cable. If you can't get to the inner one go back on the main cable a little ways and cut into the out part and strip away like you would a wire.

If that does not work, you will have to remove the grill and try to get up in there. It is not fun.

Hope this helps

Engine indicator at 3/4 hot is this normal?

This could be an indication of a problem coming. Check the radiator grills and make sure they are clean. (Not the body covering but the grills themselves) You can clear these with High pressure water spraying from inside the engine compartment to the outside. Second consider replacing the Thermostat. Obviously you first want to make sure you have a proper fluid level in the radiator. In a closed system there may be air vent valves to bleed air off the system as an air bubble can cause the water not to cycle correctly. Finally, it could be the water pump itself, I don't think that is the problem but it is possible.

HELLO I HAVE A 1990 TOYOTA TERCEL AND IT WONT ILDE

just from what you have described, I would say with a lot of certainty that you have vacuum leaks. I have to say, that was a very good dependable car. However the rubber vacuum hoses didnt last the life of the car.

The car runs great but on two recent occasions

check your connections to the Battery and starter. Make sure they are clean and tight. Also make sure your battery is good. If that all is fine I would look at bench checking your starter before yo replace it. Auto part stores will do that for free.

Toyota Tercel won`t start in the morning !

Pull a spark plug first. If its wet with fuel then most likely you have an issue with ignition. If its dry then I would look at your fuel system.

I had my battery tested told to replace I did 1 week later my car

hi first of all jump start the car then connect a voltmeter across the battery. with the headlights and heater blower switched on run the engine at a fast idle .you should get a reading of at least 13.5 volts. if the reading is about 13.3 v it means a dead cell in battery. if it is lower than this it points to a low charge from the alternator .( the battery charge light may glow dimly) hope this is some use.

Replaced negative battery cable with new, what

Make sure all battery connections are properly clean. Clean the spot where the ground cable attaches to the body. If its pitted and burn. Find another solid body ground. You can use a 1 gauge ground wire or proper battery ground cable from auto store. After installation, have someone cranks car and you feel wire for excess temperature. There might be a starter problem. Be careful not to burn yourself.

91 toyota corolla left turn signal stays lit up al

If the right side signals are working properly and you can hear the signal flasher clicking when the right side signals are selected, the flasher is not the problem. Its more likely you have a short to ground in the left side wiring somewhere.
