Need top change my fuel filter
Try speaking in full sentances. If your question is how do I change the fuel filter i have an answer. It will be under the car along the inside of the frame on the drivers side. comes off with a "quick connect" tool or two clips ......easy as pie
1989 v6 camry engine missfire
no your problem is definately the dizzie cap, as i found out to my cost on a lansia beta. any kind of crack in ur dizzie will cause probs. best way to find out is park your car in the dark open bonnet with engine running then get a mist spray with water in it spray at dizzie and you will see a slight yellow arc around the crack! any crack in bakelite distributors leads to loss of one or more banks
My horn stopped working on my 89 4 runner it's not
who told you it was a horn pin, if it is ? it is located in the steering wheel pad, you have constant power coming from the relay, which is then earthed to the column when you press the horn, it could also be the relay or the horn itself, tests will need to be carried out
Dropped the gear box for cluth and pp replacement,
you are not missing anything
so common, but most common with aftermarket seals
I've seen this on every make and model
assuming the leak is from the engine seal I do not see any modified part numbers yet
however, Toyota finally has a modified part for the transfer case, covered under TSB #022

can you tell me what this is in regards to what on the vehicle?
New battery, starter, cables, runs fine days or
had a similar problem with with my 4runner.replaced most of the fuel and ignition systems with no luck.finally traced the problem to a bad connection between the main relay and the fuel pump.there's a wire harness connection between the back of the gas tank and rear axle.I just replaced it with a solid run from the fuel pump and the relay.haven't had any problems since.
I am not getting fuel on 1988 toyota pick up. I
test for power at the pump, it souds like a bad fuelpump to me. have someone turn the key while you check for power at the pump if theres power then the pump is bad, also make sure it has a good ground.
1989 toyota 4 runner speedometer not working. does
Yes it has a Cable! Does the odometer work? If so the problem is in the Speedometer head. If not you should soon be getting a check engine light on with a code that indicates a Vehicle speed sensor problem (VSS). The you should look to a broken cable.
High idle on 89 4runner v6 EFI
Make sure the coolant temp. sensor is connected.
Bad coolant temp. sensor?
Coolant temp. sensor is ground out on the engine block?
========
The ECU use the resistor value from the coolant temp. senor to determine the block temp.
If the value is out of range.....the ECU will "think" the motor is still cold and let it ran at high idle.
I will use a carburetor cleaner to clean out the throttle plate and intake.
