Where is the fuel pump on a 1988 toyota corrolla station wagon

I don't know if your fuel injected or carb? If your fuel injected, probably electric fuel pump, in the gas tank. If not fuel injected, probably a mechanical fuel pump, under the hood, note picture. fuel-pump-1988-toyota-corrolla-station-px1oa4s1mnc4r5fmbg0hxgth-5-0.jpg

My car wont change to 5th ger

front wheel drive type AE 90 series common problem possibles is this a cables shift ..see if the cables can be adjusted at the box take the cables off the box and check the stick has full movement to the fifth gear position check the engine mounts if the clutch was recently changed I would suspect that box has to come out for the next repair /inspection the syncro of the fifth gear is damaged the rolled steel pins at the internal selectors has bent or broken option try to source another good second hand box and fit that

Car will only engage into a gear when car is off. the clutch feels like it's doing nothing and won't shift when engines on.

If your car has a hydrolytic clutch it uses a fluid to transfere the pressure you apply to the pedal to operate the clutch mechanism between engine and the transmission. If you have a leak in the system your clutch system will loose its ability to operate. Often the leak is actually inside the chambers of the master cylinder ( pump you operate when pushing the pedal ) so it's internal so you may not actually see dripping fluid under the car. If the part that does the clutch movement ( called the slave cylinder ) is leaking you my see guild under the car or dripping from the area of the clutch. Check your clutch fluid resevor and see if it's low. If it is fill it with the recommended fluid and see if the function returns. If it does have the system checked for leaks before it leaves you stranded some place more problematic than your home.

Why while driving and car temperature is normal engine cut when coming to stop..?

sounds like the fuel filter is clogging up. most vehicles it runs ok, until you stop. and then the dirt, settles to bottom of filter, and restricts fuel flow. bad filter symtoms-- bogging down on hills or grades, stalls at stops, no power on take off, ETC, Hope this helps you!

Where is fuel pressure sensor in 1987 1988 toyota corolla also should fuel filter be full to top when car is running because it is not

The fuel sensor should be in the fuel manifold and not it is not necessary for the fuel filter to be full as the fuel in equals fuel out and unless you can invert the filter, the air is of no consequence.
