do thr break lights work? sometimes people put the blinker bulbs in reversed and cause the low element to flash which will not be seen over the high element..oh and congrats on having the beast.im an evo owner

Brake light fuse , or burnt out bulb , or switch on brake pedal.
The bulbs have 2 filiments in them , 1 for running lights and 1 for brake lights.

You can get a aftermarket part for your car called a boost controller there are many different types manual and electric, if you go to your local car parts store and ask for a boost controller there is a type called a bleed valve which works by restricting boost to your actuator which controlls the wastegate causing it to open slower than it usually would therefore creating more horsepower... * BE CAREFUL THO AS STANDARD ENGINES, ESPECIALLY OLDER ONES CANNOT HANDLE MUCH MORE HP THAN THE FACTORY SETTINGS *

I believe you have a hydraulic clutch. You may be low on fluid in the master cylinder for the clutch. If it is low, it takes regular DOT3 brake fluid. After you fill it, you might have to drive it a day or two for it to recover.

It sounds like one of your injectors is stuck open. You could try a potent fuel additive like Sea Foam. Pour it directly in the hose that goes into the manifold from the brake booster. This will be very concentracted and WILL SMOKE WHITE for a moment. Hopefully whatever is blocking the valve in the injector will loosen and teh car will smooth out.

Yes. However it is a very expensive swap $5000 to $8000 to do it right. You will need the 1J or 2J engine, transmission, wiring harness, ecu, and alot of other pieces to do the swap. The engine brackets will need to be modified and you will have to upgrade your brakes. This kind of swap requires a good knowledge of the Toyota Supra and the engines. I do not recommend this swap for a beginner. A cheaper way is to take a 7M-GTE and upgrade the internals and turbo.

Best bang for the buck is going to be airflow. As in cold air intake and exhaust upgrade.

you will need an additional turbo manifold. I have the correct one its for sale right now on eaby. The ct26 turbo manifold does not allow for proper mounting. I can include directions with the manifold

One of the heat transfer "fins" sounds like it has seperated from the tubes allowing it to rattle on you. Its a heat transfer deal that may cause a tink tink kind of sound as the heat makes it expand and cooling by way of air passing by it. You could replace it, or try to hold each fin and bend whatever one is making the noise.

do not recommend it. car is built as a coupe. theroof acts as a support, if u cut it out car will flex and move in ways it is not designed.. targa are built and the structure intgerity are designed to remove the top not a coupe
