How can Toyota code p1600 be fixed
hi i wish i knew if the car had more codes or if it runs good with this code you should be having some other problems because this the main battery supply to the ecm and the memory retention voltage sourse for the computer that is fed by a fuse in the fuse box so i would check all of my ground wires and check to see if any wire is damage or threding
1999 rav4 p0300 cylinder random engine runs fine
Exhaust system will not trigger a random fire code. Spark plug gap could be out of range. The injectors could be a little pi\lugged up' Run some fuel cleaner in the next tank of gas. Then drive it until you get a definite miss number.
Petrol cap
Push on the door, it probably pops open
My RAV will be going along smoothly and then when I go up hill the car will start
There's no clogs. Your explanation tells me exactly what the problem is. Been there Bro. Your problem is caused by a faulty Exhaust Recirculation Valve (the EGR valve) and all you can do is just replace it. Those other mechanics that tried to fix it didn't know because apparently they've never come across this situation. But losing power when your pulling an incline tells you right away it's the EGR valve. Just buy one from your local auto parts store and replace it yourself. Only a couple of bolts hold it on and has a vacuum line on it.
Hi, I have a 2002
It sounds like you are dealing with a transmission issue. When metal heats up, it expands. This would be the reason as to why the noise eventually goes away. Your gearing is slipping and will eventually give out. I would take it to someone I trusted an have them drain the transmission of it's fluid and have them look for metal shavings. This usually shows up when the vehicle has been mis-treated or has been put under severely heavy loads and it being pulled uphill. Inexperienced drivers don't know how to use the vehicle gears correctly and this eats the sprockets within the transmission slap out.
Hope this helps.
I have a RAV4 D4D 2003. It's done 73000 miles and
Yes, they need to breath or they try to turn the tank inside out.
There should be a small tube on the topside of the filler tube.
My bet is it's blocked.
That's your stutter sorted.
Auto or manual gearbox?
What light comes on?
Either way a clutch is due for replacement.
Or I'm thinking maybe that light is for low hydraulic pressure in the auto gearbox.
More information please.
