Could be a problem with yr fuel sender unit as it has done a fair few k's I would just ignore it anyway!!! Sometime the actual float 4 some reason will sink & activate the low fuel level warning light!!! Mine does it all the time wen I park at an angle - up or down a hill......

You need a wiring diagram to find out what fuse and or relay powers the fuel pump. Go from there.

find a mech with an electronic stethoscope. $50 tool/ we can find any noise. source with this except U-joints. on main drive shafts. find a pro mech, they all know this. Id put in new U-joints if , all my electronic hear tests pass/ see that logic? i check axle ends, and pinion front bearing. and engine , and tranny front center and rear. all normal.> then U-joints are bad. most guys just put them in , to start. can save time. warning, all tests here are dangerous. that is why use my remote monitoring stethoscope with zero risk . person 1 drives, i rind shot gun and with head phones on i stop and move my microphone clamps takes about 30min to 1hr to finish a test. my last catch, was a bad right axle bearing, RR. i caught it early. sounds can telegraph, so lots or listen points, prove who is the offender.

Have you got fuel to injectors, have you got power to the fuel solenoid and is it working, by a clicking sound in the solenoid, have you checked the power in your battery because if it turns to slow it won't start, and also it could be compression will make it hard to start, there is a few things to check. easily, what things complex fix easy, name it? its bad or jammed. 1 or the other. how does a tech know; 1;check DC power to unit. good yes, bad fuse bad. 2: remove unit and look for damage inside, debris, etc, dust, dirt. if unit is clean and not jammed, its bad. look for junk jammed in sensors inside unit or load mechanism jam ups is this easy, it is to me, but others want magic? ok magic. take it out and blow it with clean shop air . just look at , it, is there a broken CD in side, or label fell of? dirty optics,? cars = dirt, and fail fast. clean it and pray, just about all parts on car are like that. or replace it. as the big spenders do.

Hi there, check that yr ballast resistor is working properly if it has one - other than that it could be the computer has a glitch or a sensor is loose or not connected properly!!!!Check the air filter isnt clogged 2!!! When did it start doing it - Has the car been recently through water or real dusty roads??? Good luck!!!!

Sounds like an air lock! To Check....With engine cold set heater to hot position.ID return pipe from heater under the hood. Remove the return pipe at one end to check if coolant is there ( it should run from heater pipe) if no coolant you have an air lock.To remove air lock top up coolant header when engine is cold. Leave heater in cold position replace pipe and start engine. Allow it to come to working temp then set heater to hottest position. Allow a few seconds and check if the pipe you first removed is hot. If no then ease the securing clip and carefully allow air to escape while engine is running... place a cloth over this area to prevent hot coolant spraying out. When coolant appears re-tighten pipe."PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL DOING THIS AS COOLANT WILL BE EXTREMELY HOT". If you're not confident enough to do this ask a qualified mechanic to do it for you.Again please be careful.
