My engine auto diagnosis warning light has come on
I would get it to a garage as soon as possible. Your going to have to take it to your peugeot mains dealer because most of the time they are the only ones with the EMS tester. Unless you know a garage that will be able to help you out.
Where's the transmission dip-stick on
There usually isn't one, you have to pull the plug to check the oil, If the tranny has 2 plugs, one is for level and the other for fill, If you suspect it to be low, pull the bottom plug on the right side of the tranny, if oil seep out , it is full, if not, pull the top plug and fill it with 90 weight gear oil, till it seeps out the bottom hole. Then plug them back up. Most manual transmissions go a lifetime and never get checked, or changed. Hope this helps.
How to change timing belt peugeot 205 1.9 Diesel
It is a bit fiddly (your local library will get a Haynes manual in for you) you need decent tools, Halfords or Stanley will do, Argos or B+Q will not! you need a length of 10mm or 3/8 rod about a foot long to lock the crank. get back to me when you are ready and I will write more.

Remove window winding handle on peugeot 106
There is a horseshou shaped spring clip under the handle, between it and the trim pad or washer if fitted, a thin ribbon with a small knot run behind can flick it off or a special tool made by draper from a motor factors might be easier.
I have a peugeot partner van 1997, and I want to
Leave it for half an hour with the ignition on and door closed, it should re set (this happens when the wrong code is used for more than 3 times) check for a sticking button, sometimes they go sticky with a lot of use, if you do get the green light just umplug the keyboard when running and it disables the system. If you cannot get the green light try leaving the battery off overnight with the lights switched on then connect the battery, if still no with the ignition on and someone in the car spark the earth lead to the battery untill the green light comes on.
Peugeot 306 d-turbo rev jumps accelerating
Hi
It could be a number of things, I would check the EGR valve first as that is quite common on the HDI EGR "exhaust gas recycler" reuses any unburnt fuel in the exahust gas and forces it through the engine to keep your emmissions down and improve economy. often these get mucky so you can remove them and spray them with carb cleaner! do not use anything else to clean them.
To check also any air pipes that have splits. tears, rips etc have a feel around the underside of each air pipe as again this can ause that fault.
Lastly check the air mass sensor going into the air box, I cannot reacll where it is on that model but they are very obvious once your looking at it. normally a wire going into the main air intake of the car, unplug or unscrew it and again clean with carb cleaner and refit.
try these before you pay anyone, lastly it could be an injector leak sucking in air, you can test this if you can get to the injectors, poor a little water around each one and see if they blow out any water or bubble up and **** the water in, this can be a cheap fix but the labour invloved may be expensiove, in all honesty buy a haynes book as its pretty simple just takes a while.
Hope this helps, if you are unsure what I mean then get back to me and I will explain.

Dan
Abs pump fault Peugeot 406 1998 gtx
these pumps rarely fail, if you just have an abs warning light on it is more than likely it is just a wheel sensor that is the problem any local diagnostic place should be able to tell you which wheel is a fault, this model also had a problem with the toothed ring on the outer end of drive shaft splitting and allowing the ring to stop turning, somtimes a little spot weld cures it if not it comes as part of the shaft which has to be replaced unfortunately
I have a a peugeot 106 xn and am juist learning
More revs and slower off the clutch. Takes some practice, maybe having an instructor gives you a false sense of security. Listen to the engine, shoudl not dip down too much when you start to pull away.
Vote for me, thanks :)
When I am driving my 2003 Peugeot 206 GTI 2.0 car
It could be wheel bearings or it could be bent callipers if other garage who fitted the brakes did a poor job of removing old ones by beating callipers when they couldn't remove em as they may have had rusted screws good garages will keep trying without damaging but some do damage callipers.
