How do you get the

Hi. You need to unhook your battery so no one gets cooked while removing parts or touching wires. Once the battery is disconnected, then remove the fasteners on the distributor cap. They are typically two small L-shaped rods that have a screwdriver head on the top with a spring underneath to keep them tightly secure. You need to suppress the rods from the top with a screwdriver and then turn them to free the cap from its grip. Once the cap is off, then there should be a couple of guide screws that need to be detached to remove the rotor and replace it with another.

All the best!

Help...i cant get my rotor

I assume you mean your brake disc rotor....if it is front, you may have to tap it with a hammer around the circumference until it is loose, it is common for the disc to rust itself to the hub........if it is the rear, then this is a different story...i also assume that you have removed the brake caliper and associated components

I JUST CHECKED MY DISTRIBUTOR

No, that 5 mm play is definitely not normal and it is almost surely the cause of the abnormal wear pattern - the wear is more visible when the distance from the rotor and the plot is highest because there the spark is more violent because it has to jump a greater distance.
Replace both and check the play again - if the play remains the same then you will have to check the distributor itself.

Even at low speed 20-40km/hr

Check your front suspension(ball joints, tie rod ends, also check the boots for wear and make sure they are full of grease) for tightness. If the vehicle pulls either way or grinds when you turn or brake, it may also be your wheel bearings.

I have a 1994 daihatsu

There is a diagnostic cable which you will require to do the diagnostic test.
There is no need to physically replace chips, connect extra wires, or adjust hardware. Just connect one end of the cable to your computer's RS232 port and the other end to your daihatsu 14-pin Consult port, which is normally located near the fuse box.

  • Do I need to have my car running while performing diagnostics?
Most functions require only the ignition to be turned on, not the engine.
  • I'm not a professional mechanic, can I still use this cable and software?
Yes. This cable and software are designed to be user friendly and easy to understand.
And for getting cable .You can get it from Autozone service centers.

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Daihatsu Terios hydraulic breaks

Hi, buy a couple of pints of brake fluid, dot3 or 4, get a bleed pipe from your local car store, connect to each bleed nipple behind each wheel, with the nipple open press brake pedal down several times, do one at a time, as the fluid drops in the brake fluid resovoir keep topping it up so it does not run out, do this to all the 4 wheel starting with the one that is furthest away, you sould end up with a bottle of very grimey brake fluid, good luck.
