hello. well your ball joint's are connected to your steering .!!! they are connected to the tye rod's the alow you to turn your wheel's .! from left to right.!!! hope this help's you. good luck"

How to test ignitor
Sometimes it's easier just to replace the ignitor, if the coil checks out for continuity.
You can check for coil spark by disconnecting the negative wire and tapping it against the chassis while looking for a spark from the high tension lead resting on the engine.
You can check the ignitor is getting a signal by connecting a dwell or duty cycle meter to the incoming signal.
