crankshaft position sensor is the usuall problem..its on top of the ****** assuming you have a 4.0 liter engine.they usually go bad.when it doesnt start check for spark,to see if you have any.

I would check the transmission fluid levels as a start.If all fluids are good,the transmission filter may be blocked and the trans needs a service.Hope this helps

I would call a locksmith. They could get your keys out and make you a spare one.

MOST PASSENGER VECHICLE FUEL INJECTORS INDIRECT.THE BIG DIESEL TRUCKS HAS DIRECT FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM.FUEL IS INJECTED DIRECTLY IN THE CYLINDERS.

The heater core is located on the passenger side of you Jeep. My 1995's is under the dash behind the plastic panel for the vents. Yours will be right around there also. If you open the hood and look where the blower fan for the heater is, passenger side firewall, just behind there. Hope this helps

Just pull the control lever one notch rearward. first position is 2wd, next is "part time 4wd". after that is neutral (only used when your vehicle is being towed) and last is 4 low, only used when pulling heavy loads at low speeds on slippery surfaces. Best to engage 4wd while rolling at under 30mph. If dash light remains on after shifting back to 2wd, usually backing up about twenty feet or so will disengage it.
If doing what I said does not get you into 4wd, then you need to have someone qualified look at it to make sure the transfer case, front differential and both front axles are in good condition.

Are any of the lamps (bulbs) out in that side of the car? Remember that the rear turn signals share a filament with the brake lamps.

check fuel preassure and watch for a leak down or loss of preassure ,there is a known problem with the check valve that is part of the pump, you have to change the pump complete

Should be spring loaded. Put wrench on bolt head in center and pull up, away from belt.

Very very likely there is an intake manifold leak.OR fuel pump playing up.I would start at the intake leak.I do not know what the chips or intakes are that you have on BUT,the symptoms are an intake air leak.Hope this helps you

It is the front or first cylinder/piston on the left side or driver side of the engine.

the fuse area is under the driver side, you may have to pull a large panel, they will be on the firewall way up under there, also the actuator where all the wires and clicking comes from is in the passenger side kick panel under the dash, on the right side

need info what engine and what is the problem

first is it a vacuum actuator on the front axle and u may be losing the vacuum when u hit the gas pedal. so spend 15 dollars and get a vacuum test kit to check for any leak downs in any of the vacuum lines,it maybe time consuming but will be worth doing yourself before paying 6 hrs of labor to a shop to do it all

well if the ac just deosnt work anymore or is the pulley itself locked up. if the pulley is locked up then yes go ahead and get a bypass belt, but if the compressor itself deosnt turn on and the pulley still turns u dont need to do anything to be able to drive the vehicle other than to check the pressure in the ac system u probably have a leak that has tripped the low pressure sensor that protects the compressor by not allowing it to turn on

these jeeps are known to have a faulty ground wire behind the dash that provide all the grounding for the dash functions, put also check all the fuses for a possible simple fix

first is it auto 4wd drive or a manual lever. if it is a manual lever the first check is to try adjusting the linkage that shifts the transfer case these are known to stretch. furthermore if it is automatic u may be looking at a speed sensor that is telling the 4wd drive computer the vehicle wheels r turning at different speeds and doing its job by thinking you need the 4wd ingaged
