Mini cooper 2004 rear wiper parking fault

the problem will be in the gearbox on the wiper motor ,inside this gearbox on teh end where the drive comes out is a set of contacts and the brushes are not making contact or the path has worn out or broke ,so best advice is to ignore the fault as a new motor is not that cheap unless you can find one in the scrap yard

Hi my minione.2x overheating..smoke

I may have read your question incorrectly and im sorry if i did, but if there is smoke coming out then that most likely means that you are burning oil.. a broken or bent piston ring causes this, because the oil is slipping through the cracks into the top of the cylinder and cumbusting with the fuel and air mixture.

I got the abs and

on all four wheels their will be a sensor and 'sensing' plate. First step is to clean these all up with a parts cleaner, and try again. If one of the sensors cant pick up a signal from the plate, then this will cause a fault. If no luck, inspect the wiring to and from the sensors, for obvious damage/short circuits. Hopefully this would have sorted it, otherwise their could be a faulty abs sensor. As for tyre pressures, i am not sure how the system works. What type of warning? If it is like some aftermarket systems, then maybe a battery has gone in flat on one of the wheel sensors

I have an 04 mini cooper, every 3 months it

If the fault is occcuring only when in traffic, that is when it is idling with no free flow of air to the radiator to cool off, then the suspect can be the radiator itself.
If some of the radiator pipes are blocked then this can be possible.
So do a good flushing of the radiator when a little warm flush out use coolant and flush after few days, if rust is seen repeat till all the rust is over.

I live in Oakland, CA. Recently, my barke service

First check brake fluid level. If it is low, the light will come on. Top off the master cylinder with fluid. With ABS systems there may be just a sensor out. Ask a repair man to run a test of the system.

you need to make sure your thermostat is not sticking and make sure you have the right amount cooling in it and the heater hose are not plug and the heater core as well if all is good you need to have it pressure tested to make sure you do not have a bad head gasket or head itself give these websites a try www.alldatiy.com and www.autozone.com if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your car find out what it is soon because you do not want to do damage to your motor wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.
