No real test unless you want to take carb apart then you can blow through fuel inlet if with seat in place if you can blow through it its bad if you cant its good. It would be a rare failure more likely float is stuck or debris in fuel bowl

the temperature sender unit activates the fan
replace it! & get a new mechanic!!!!

it is very simple to get your Renault code, just take a look at this video tutorial :

start with the fuse panel . really look good. even replace fuses just in case. then look at the fire wall where it passes through the fire wall is there a connection block with a bolt in the center. . remove battery if you want to reseat it. check the connections to the fuse box too. look for any inline fuses , see that all accessory ,lighter sockets are working , check the key switch in accessory position. insert a signal into one of them end connector an trace it back with high freq . only a tech knows what an how to do this.

Ask for this at the vehicle manufacturer or the vehicle sales agency (if stereo was originally fitted in this vehicle, as new) or contact the stereo manufacturer. One would normally have to take the vehicle to the manufacturer or agency for this info and resetting, as this specific coding is of course a precautionary measure against "stolen" equipment being sold for gain by thieves!

Hi Oulmide, Make sure of the correct setting of the valve and crankshaft timing match marks. Inspect both sensors for correct operation (crank and cam shaft sensors) as it may be that either has been damaged during the work carried out. It is also very possible that the anti theft system has engaged, especially as the battery will have been disconnected. Regards John

There could be any number of reasons for this. - when starting, engine shake might not be firing in one of the cylinders or might have an electrical fault. - when driving, shake might be due to badly inflated tires, badly balanced wheels, damaged CV boots and joints, worn bushings. In short, you need to get it to an auto mechanic who deals with Renault to tell you what is wrong. You can ask for a quote to fix it but you don't have to proceed. You take what you've been told to several other mechanics and tell them what you've been told and ask them how much to fix it. Good luck.

Renault. it dont matter much. there are only 3 ways belts come off on all cars. a gander and yes. a spring tensioner (look see it?) 2 ways to release. ask. or the belt has stand alone belt mech , non spring, tensioner. or one of the accessories, that the belt OPERATORS, moves and sets tension on (old cars all did this) so who to tell, well, you LOOK, at the belt what is it touching. eyes, follow belt and no spring tensioner, and oops no stand alone pure mech, tensioner with may be its own pulley. and you arrive at the alternator, and behold it has 3 point mount and one is adjustable, bingo, or the P/S pump moves.via same 3rd bolt. those bolts fit slotted guides that are for ADJUSTMENTs. all this is covered in the FSM, buy one for your car and read belt changes.
