I've had air bag suspension on my 2007 Hummer H2 since it was born. I drive from coast to coast every year, go off-roading in the Mojave and Sonora Desert around Las Vegas where I live in extreme head and wet/dry conditions and in 12 years of driving my H2 with 140,000 miles, I have only replaced the air bags (1) time at a cost of $220 for the set. I installed them myself in 1 hour, super easy job, so this idea that the bags and compressor are guaranteed to fail as it it happened all the time is pure ignorance. $200 every 12 years in my case is not a big expense at all. IN FACT, the greatest expense I suffer in my Hummer is not even gas mileage, I often get up to 19 miles per gallon on the highway, cruise control on at 70 mph, the SWEET SPOT for my Hummer. The greatest expense has been WASHING THE TRUCK. I pay $70 to $100 to have my truck washed every three weeks. It looks and runs as good today as it did when it rolled off the line 12 years ago.

The IPC displays the fuel level as determined by the PCM- engine computer. The IPC -instrument panel cluster receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating the fuel level percent. The fuel gage defaults to empty if:

First check the drive shafts(vibration). Universal joints could be bad. Best to have it off the ground. No pressure from the tires and transfer case/transmission. Service 4x4 has to go on a scanner to get codes. Check fuses first.
