How to remove wiper arm

Hello,

Please follow the steps below to remove or replace the wiper arm:
  1. With the hood closed, turn the wipers on, when the wipers are in the middle of their arc turn the key to the off position. (Note: if this can't be done because of wiper condition and you want to avoid scratching the windshield please open your hood to gain access)
  2. Locate the mounting clips at the top pivot on the wiper blade
  3. Release the clip and remove the wiper arm
  4. Match the size of the old blade against the new blade to ensure proper fit and operation
  5. Reinstall the new wiper blade and recheck wiper operation
Hope this helped. Thank You for using FixYa!!!

Air suspension modular fuse (10) amp keeps

something is drawing too much current, pump running full time due to leak in air shock or line.
have a mechanic take a look at it and sit down before they tell you how much it is going to cost.
take a look at www.strutmasters.com for a kit to turn it into a regular shock and spring set up. One part of this system after another will need to be replaced, convert it or sell it.

2004 towncar,how do you repair

A common problem is for the shocks to blow out when the compressor is not turned off when lifting on the Lincolns.

Or, over time leaks develop, or the air pump goes bad.

Air Springs Removal & Installation NOTE: The use of a diagnostic scan tool capable of inflating and deflating the air springs will be necessary to perform this procedure.
WARNING
Do not remove an air spring under any circumstances while there is pressure in the air spring. Do not remove any components supporting an air spring without either exhausting the air or providing support for the air spring to prevent vehicle damage or personal injury. To prevent vehicle damage or personal injury, do not install an air spring that has become unfolded.
CAUTION
Observe the following when servicing the air spring suspension system.
  • Any air spring which is unfolded must be refolded prior to being installed in the vehicle
  • The air spring refolding should only be used for an air spring which has never supported the vehicle's weight while in the incorrectly folded position
  • Do not attempt to inflate any air spring which has been collapsed while un-inflated from the rebound (hanging) position to the jounce stop
  • When installing a new air spring, care must be taken not to apply a load to the suspension until springs have been inflated using the scan tool
  • Always inspect an air spring for the correct shape after inflating it
To Remove:
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2. Position the vehicle on a hoist with the tires slightly above the floor.
  3. Release the pressure from the air spring using a suitable scan tool.
  4. Raise the vehicle to gain access to the air springs.
  5. Remove the retainer at the top of the air spring.
  6. Detach the air spring from the rear axle.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connect and the air line.
  8. Remove the air spring from the vehicle.
To Install:
  1. Position the upper end of the spring on the frame and install the retainer.
  2. Install the bottom end of the spring on the axle housing.
  3. Connect the air line and the electrical connector.
  4. Lower the vehicle until the tires are slightly above the floor.
  5. Inflate the air spring with the scan tool.
  6. Lower the vehicle to the floor.

How do I change spark plugs?

Your car has what is called "Coil On Plug" ignition. You just locate the coils on top of the engine. There's eight of them. 4 on one side and 4 on the other. Unplug all 8 coils. remove the 7mm bolt that holds each coil in. Pull the coils out. They DO come out with no other removal of components. Remove the plugs. Repeat. only backwards.

Air suspension went out

All things are possible, it's more how much, not can I these days.
I would contact one or more of the big name auto parts stores and see what shocks and or kits they have to offer.

This way you can decide what solution suits your needs and your budget.

Hope this is of some help.
