Battery was going flat .Battery light not coming

This sounds more like a voltage regulator problem. The warning light is turned on by this device. When a charge comes from the alternator, it turns the light off, when the charge stops. ie egine stopped, it turns the light on, if the key is still on.

My 1998 Hyundai Elantra automatic will not go in reverse

If you have not done so already, check the transmission fluid level. If you are low on fluid, there is a chance that adding fluid to the correct level may solve the problem. The fluid level should be checked with the car idling and the shift lever in neutral. There are two sets of Hi/Low marks on the transmission dipstick, one for Cold (car just started) and one for Hot (car running for 20 minutes or more). Use Hyundai recommended SPIII fluid. However, this does seem like a more serious transmission problem. Take the car to a qualified transmission mechanic.

What does it mean when check engine light on dash

This indicates the ECU had detected a problem with the emissions system. Can be as simple as a loose gas car or as serious as a defective sensor. You need to have the ECU scanned with an OBD2 scan tool. This will bring up the fault code that has been set. This code will indicate what part is being effected. Not necessarily what part is bad but what part is being effected by the problem. An experienced and knowledgeable technician can then determine where to look. If the engine is missing or running rough a new set of spark plugs may solve the problem. But it is impossible to say without know the fault code and how the engine is performing.

Hi I have a 1998

Hi, You do not need to remove the seat to relieve the fuel pressure, this is done under the hood. I have attached a picture to help you find the location. What are you trying to perform??? Fuel pump test or fuel pump removal?? I'm thinking test. There is a relieve port located in the fuel supply line that has a schrader valve to allow pressure to be released. Cover it with a rag or your gonna know what fuel taste like or cause pressurized fuel to spray you in the face.

My dad wants to know if the seal on the cv joint

not worth the effort, the joint is probably worn anyway, the whole axle shaft only costs probably 80 bucks remanufactured compared to 30 bucks for a boot kit you have to dismantle the axle to install with special tools anyway.
