SHOULD I REPLACE CLUTCH FOR MY 1992 HYUNDAI EXCEL?
by the sound of it you need to adjust the clutch to obtain the correct amount of free play,if you do not have the right amount of free play the clutch plates will drag and cuse the car to try to move with out any gas

it sounds like the memory wire isnt connected to the correct position the memory wire on the stereo needs to go to b+ also a faulty battery can cause this even if the battery can still start the car. an auto electrician should be able to test the battery for free to eliminate that as the problem

Start the car and disconnect one of the terminals on the battery, while the car is running, if the cars is still running after you disconnect that terminal then your altenator is working properly. If the car shuts off, then you will have to replace your altenator.

Have the vehicle scanned by a reputable shop right away. Driving the car the way you are WILL cause the transmission to fail and you will need to have it rebuilt. A good shop will have a scanner that will check for any trouble on the transmissions sensors. If all that checks out, you will need to have the unit rebuilt.

Easy problem. Check your clutch fluid (it is most likely low) master cylinder on the front of the gearbox most likely has failed, causing you to try and put it in gear, but then you broke the shifter cable. Easy fix.
