If a mechanic has told you the pump is faulty, then I am not sure what you are hoping anyone here can do to help you. I suggest you listen to your mechanic and replace the pump.

Start with the basics, check for power and ground at the fan motor, if good, check the fuse.

Hello,

Based on your symptoms you described of your car, the first thing I would check is your fuel pump relay fuse. I believe it is possible, that your not getting fuel because your fuel pump relay is blown or has short and is not triggering fuel pump; Check your manual to find out where in your fuse box this is located. Sometimes its under glove box, under drivers side front left and sometimes under the hood. I would first check that to make sure your fuel pump is coming on. Thanks Mike

Never heard of your vehicle.. However, Go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register (vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you'll have access to technical information (manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc) about your vehicle.

Hi,
1) Take u r car on ramp and check all wheels are free or not
2) Check the iddlng (RPM)
3)Clean the injectors.
4) Ask mechanic is der any water content in petrol tank

The noise you are hearing is a tell tale sign of a bad starter. Remove it and take it in to a parts store to have it tested. Most place test them for free, but its up to you to get it out.

If you need help doing this feel free to come on back to ask for it.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Do a tune up and if it's still a problem check your Iac or tps idle air control or throttle position sensor

Hyundai XG300... | Answered on Feb 05, 2018 | 176 views

If it is unresponsive to throttle changes it could be the throttle position sensor or maf sensor. Get some throttle body cleaner and follow the directions. Depending on location of the maf sensor you may need to remove it to clean it. Google search it and watch some video on it.

If your mechanic created this new problem after working on your car it would be up to him to fix the problem at no charge.
