2005 Hyundai Santa Fe Questions & Answers
Will a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe engine run 180 degrees outta time?
Very unlikely. Everything works from cylinder number 1 being at TDC on firing stroke. Crankshaft position sensor and Camshaft position sensor have to be in synch.
If you have had the battery disconnected for working on it, there is a relearning process that takes a while.

Hyundai Santa Fe, 2005, 3.5L ignition coil question
That doesn't sound like an ignition coil. And coils are not expensive, about $20 for most of them. There may be an ignition control module on the car (which is used to control the coil's circuit for causing spark) but I'm not sure that is what you mean. On GM cars, for instance, this part costs about $40.The word 'boot' and the 3 prong receptacle do not ring a bell with me, sorry.
2004 2.7L Santa Fe. Check engine light on got
It's called a "dead" cylinder and you did right by replacing the cam sensor. Still does it though? Do a ohm meter test on the injectors to find if one is bad. The one that shows the lowest reading compared to the rest is the bad one. Code being P0304 means it's #4 cylinder dead. IF that injector shows a low reading, replace it or have it cleaned professionally. If the test shows all injectors reading the same, 16.5 or so, none are bad. do a compression test on all cylinders, if you find #4 cylinder is on the low side with a compression test, you have a bad exhaust valve and must give it attention.
