SOUNDS LIKE YOUR FUEL PUMP IS GOING BAD, IF YOU HAVE IT REPLACED CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER ALSO.

two possibilities would be that the coil pack is failing or you may have water in your fuel. first try picking up a couple bottles of gas-line antifreeze... put one in the tank now and one at your next fill up and see if that sorts out the issue. if you happen to live in the states stop by autozone (where you can buy the gasline anti-freeze too). ask them to scan the codes it's free. that will give a better indication of why it does that.

It seems like it almost has to be one of two things. Either it's getting a little hotter than it thinks it should or it thinks it's not getting the right air fuel mix at those speeds. If, after slowing from hwy. speeds, the light lingers for a little, then goes out, I'd investigate option 1. If it goes out pretty much as soon as you let off the gas. Option 2. If you're pursuing the heat issue, flush the radiator thoroughly. Make sure the fan is working right.
Engine lights can be finicky. If the car runs fine and doesn't seem to be having any problems other than the light, it might be nothing important.

The air bag system would not stop the car from starting even after air bags deploy the car will start and run . ther are accearometers in the front sides and middle of the hood and in the computer but not in the rear. So you have a bad coil or a fuel pump out. My guess is the fuel pump. since the 93 Saturn is a moduale body it is possible the accident damagd the wiring harness. Get your insurance to fix it.

On the side of the block, transmission side, but make sure that the fan is able to work...just unplug the connector and with the key in on position, use a small jumper wire and jump the connector that you have unplugged and if the sensor is the problem, the fan will start running at this point. If it doesn't want to run, you will need to unplug the fan and ground the side that is for ground, where the black wire comes into the connector, then use a jumper wire from the positive side of the battery and jump the other side of the connector to the fan...make sure you don't touch the + - side together while doing this since it is hard on the PCM, but if the fan doesn't start when jumping, replace the fan.

open the hood of your car there should be some bolts or screws that bolts on to the brackets holdin your head light it should be pretty easy to remove

one more thing if you are getting autozone alternators, make them test it for you before you leave the store remember 13.25 plus volt
you should be seeing around 15 to 16 volts that will taper down thru the internal regulator

mechanical problem within the speedometer - can be repaired- consult local Saturn dealer

don t no forsure i have seen the mass air flow sensor does that

1. Raise the front of the car and support on jack stands.
2. Remove negative battery cable.
3. Crawl under the car and locate the starter.
4. Remove 13 mm nut securing power cable to the starter and pull cable to the side.
5. Remove 10 mm nut securing the ignition wire to the solenoid and pull wire to the side.
6. Using a ratchet with a 13 mm socket and 6" extension, remove the 2 bolts securing the starter to the transmission.
7. Remove starter.

Installation is reverse of removal.

the serpentine belt will not affect the trans operation, u are describing a defective transmission, the forward clutches have failed or there is a internal hydraulic pressure leak, in either case the trans will need to be pulled out and repaired/overhauled

Unplug it and see if you have 12 volts to ground on the feed wire. Need a Volt meter

clean intake behind air filter with some fuel injector safe carb cleaner, map sensor dirty.

With very little to go on, here's a list of possibilities:

- Bad tank of gas/ dirt in the tank
- bad spark plug wire or spark plug (this just happened to me with an old VW. Just out of the blue started missing at a stop sign.)

so...start by removing one wire at a time until one of them doesn't change the sound of the engine at idle. when you have one identified as not making a difference if it's on or off, you've found your culprit, but you can verify this by switching it with another wire (at both ends) and making sure the effect is true at the different location. if it's not, then replace the spark plug (or swap if you're curious)

its in the gas tank

Look at the sidewall of the tires that are on the car now. The tire and wheel size are printed on the sidewall, or take the car to an autoparts store and have them check for you. They will not charge for this service. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Okay it could be one of 2 things. A) you are leaving something on in the car such as lights or leaving a door open a little. B) you have a bad alternator. To check it once you have a complete charged battery, start the car. Let it run fora few mins. while the car is running disconnect the battery. (this is completely safe) If the car turns off you have a bad alternator. Please let me know the outcome.

Soes it take a couple seconds to engage in reverse? Does it seem to slam into gear when it does engage? If so you need a Valve Body. It' in the top of the transmission and it is about $350 to replace with a good used one
