im guessing you are refering to the heater core? its located under the dash but is wrapped in all sorts of plastic. the plastic is bolted together and its a very tedious task removing all that plastic and bolts to get to it. once its visible theres 2 heater hoses going through the firewall that can be accessed through the engine compartment, the rubber hoses need to be removed. once all that is done it should slide out and you can slide the new one in and reassemble.

If you go to autozone you need the 55 inch belt made for no p/s or a/c. Part number should be 550K5. This indicates 55.0 inches and a 5 ribbed belt.

To get it off find the tensioner on the timing chain cover. The tensioner is the pulley where the belt goes OVER and holds tension. Take a wrench (the proper sized one of course) and turn it to the left. It will be tough because it is under spring load (tension), once you remove the tension by holding the tensioner at that "open" point you then can slip the belt off. Installation is reverse. Hold the tensioner back and slip the belt on. It's usually easier to get it on the crank first then since you only have the water pump and alternator to worry about, slip it back over those.

Then be careful when releasing the tensioner so that it doesn't spring back all at once and hurt you.

The engine fan is a 12 volt DC motor in a housing attached to the radiator.
Unplug the fan and run two wires from the battery to the fan plug connections, if it runs the fan is good and you need to look next to the temperature sensor which tells the fan to turn on due to engine heat. If fan does not turn on with direct electricial connection then you can buy a replacement at advance, autozone, or on ebay motors. Note apply power to the fan's connector, not to the car wiring harness. If your fan is good I believe the there are two termperature sensors screwed into the driver's side of the engine head. They look similar but have different electrical connectors.

you may look into test the circuit with a verifier. this is done by putting one piece of the pair on one end then one on the other, making sure that the line is working.

have you checked the battery?

You most likely have a burnt terminal in your Inside fuse block.Easiest way to check this is to remove the console trim panel next to the drivers side front of console, just pulls loose. Then while trying to start the engine reach down & wiggle the wring going into the front 68way connector. If it takes off & starts to crank you have a burnt terminal in the fuse block. If you remove the front connector (68 Way) there are 2 of these 68 ways in that block. You can look inside at the male terminals you will see one terminal with plastic melted around it.If you see this, that''s your problem!! You will need to find a used Fuse block at junkyard with same Part #.Very important to get same part!! Hope This helps
