1984 Porsche 928s. My wipers, windshield and headlight sprayer do not work. Could this be a bad relay. The fuse is fine. If not the relay why else would they not work.

Find the pump, likely attached to resevoir, check the wires there and back a bit...maybe a disconnect on that harness. If ok, have someone hit "spray switch" while you check for voltage on that harness. If voltage (12vdc) present, likely bad pump.

What is the power of engine porsche 924 s 1980

Are you sure of the year? I don't believe they made the 924S until 1987. The 1987 has 147hp and the 1988 has 158hp

Volt gauge

You definitely have a problem with the charging system. As it is, the engine and other electricals are running your battery down. You need to put a voltmeter on the battery with the engine running to verify no charging. When the alternator is working and charging, the voltage will be about 14 volts, or somewhere between 13.5 volts and 14.5 volts. It may not even crank the engine over fast enough to start if your battery voltage is now under 12 volts. Then you would need a boost, but if alternator is not working, what charge you now have in your battery may be quickly depleted and the engine will shut down. Test the alternator as I stated, or take it off and have it tested at a parts store.

How to remove upper part of center consule, where the oil pressure gauge is on a 1983 porsche 944?

1) Remove two screws visible on top corners 2) Pull off the 3 HVAC sliders (pull with a little force) and pull off the fan speed knob 3) Using a flathead, carefully pry off the bezel that surrounds the HVAC sliders. It might be clipped on at the bottom. Don't worry about breaking the clips, you can use 3M mounting tape to get it back on even if you completely eff it up. 4) There are 2 more screws visible now, remove them 5) Now, pull on the main plastic shroud that goes around the top and sides - hard, but without breaking any plastic. It might take a couple minutes, but it will eventually come out to expose the goodies behind it. 6) The clock is attached by a metal piece that holds it against the plastic face. Remove the two thumb-screws, and remove the metal foot piece. Unplug wiring and remove clock. Remove the 2 top screws first. you need to remove the 2 tiny bolt head screws on the bottom under there in white. 944 center-w0qxa34br0siddngngwu04cu-1-2.jpg

1984 Porsche 928s. All the stereo speakers on the right side do not work, the left side ones work fine. What could be the issues. Thanks Pete

Hello Pete. This could be a number of things. the first is the balance knob on the radio. Is it set to middle? it could just be set over to the left? Depending on the type of radio you have, it should be a Blaupunkt as these were the standard fitted radio you may have to remove it and see if any wires have been unplugged. The tool for doing this should be in your owners manual pouch. If it is not you can use a coat hanger (steel) folded into a U shape and push the ends into the round holes at the side of the stereo and pull it out to check the connections. depending on the radio it could also have a separate fader switch, you need to check the connections on this if the radio is okay. radio pins-w0qxa34br0siddngngwu04cu-4-0.jpg
