Well Strauss told you wrong. You can replace just the fuel filter without replacing the fuel pump. And you are in luck because on your Hyundai there is an access panel which allow you to access the fuel pump without removing the fuel tank. Read the warnings and heed them. Work in well ventilated area with all windows on the vehicle down, disconnect the battery before starting this repair, and use every precaution to not have any sparks near where you are working. Click the link for detailed instructions with photos. Please be very careful and do not attempt this unless you feel confident you can accomplish this repair. http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17699

On the right side of the ETACS, you will have to feel for an indentation, mine was covered with tape. I peeled it off, then felt the switch within the opening. It slides up and down. With that, I was able to set my new fob. Good Luck.

It could be a fuel pump issue, try turning the key to the on possition. Do you hear the fuel pump run? It should run for about 3-5 seconds then stop. There should also be a spot on fuel rail to check the fuel pressure.

flywheels or flex plates ( manual or automatic)
flywheels will generally shatter the bell housing so It may be flex plates
They crack the center out from incorrect fitment of the washes at the crank shaft that makes them flex against the torque converter
generally it is the omission or the incorrect fitment of the large dish shaped washes or the flex plate not being turn around until all of the bolts screw all the way in finger tight
the units are make in thousands and last hundreds of thousands of miles so to have such a problem is lack of attention to detail on fitment or lack of trade skill in the fitting

Either the hose connections are leaking at the rack or the rack is leaking. If you're not seeing any fluid, disconnect one of the bellows at the end of the rack. I bet fluid will pour out

Hey , you know troubled "Strarters" are funny things, "like a broken clock, they are right twice a day !!" There's a little starter drive inside that thing as complicated as he..(you know !!) One thing that I have had the "It doesn't start, it does start bit" from this winter was my battery. I got so ticked that I went & bought a used one from Kijiji for $50. You know what? "It's still in my TRUNK !!!" A lot of places will check your battery for free. Check your battery, it's connections, any acid at the terminals? One tes I have used, for free is "Can you boost another guy's car with your battery, and the car not running?" No Luck, then see about when it's running. When you get into your car, are the "Door ajar" etc. lights bright, or kind of dim compared to when " The Beast" is running? Som e simple tips, maybe not applicable, but come for my favourite price, "FREE".
When I'm at a cash & I'm asked "How'd you like to pay sir?" I like to answer "Reluctantly !!"
Good Luck !
