Cant find the manual release
Read your owners manual for the correct location but look around your drivers compartment for a lever. usually they are located at teh foot of the drivers seat
I have a 1988 saab
The location of the manual pull is in the opening of the took kit
located in the right rear quarter panel in the rear hatch area. There
should be a black pull wire with an arrow on it saying fuel door.
Lost my clutch in my saab 9000.. petal goes 2 the
if the fluid hasn't gone down, then likely no leak. therefore suspect either a mechanical linkage problem, or a by-pass problem.
Start by checking the linkage to the master cylinder to make sure that the pedal is actually actuating it.
Other possible causes are:
air trapped in the system which will give a spongy feel to the pedal;
fluid by-passing the piston, I'd expect that if the by-pass was in the slave, the pedal would have some resistance.
you can bleed the clutch system but need something like a radiator pressurising pump to pressurise the system (pump once or twice only to avoid over-pressurising! and don't let reservoir get empty) Otherwise it's just like bleeding brakes.
Hope this helps, if it does please give me a "thumbs up"!
Thanks

Is it the fly wheel or the starter
If the starter is left in the engaged position ( trying to start the engine) the first thing to fail will be the pinion over-ride clutch and then the armature wires melt out and the starter is dead.. If it costs you a new starter motor that will be an expensive lesson for you to fix problems when they occur and not leave it for RON (lat-er -RON)
Saab 9000 immobiliser wont disengage
Cheers guys but it's not a key fob, it's a weird torpedo shaped device you press directly onto a small metal disc beneath the immobiliser light. It's an old L reg Saab 9000. Any ideas?
Lights flash when trying to jump start a saab 9000
Read the owner's manual about jump starting. It may be different than 'normal' cars. Also, the lights flashing is probably related to the car's alarm needing reset. .....again read the owner's manual for more info.GL,Td
