your car is the xj350 all alluminium body model and suffer from bad grounds cos the grounds are bonded and fail check the ground points in the trunk and also water ingress in the trunk

Dead battery in my 1999 jag xj8. How to get in to trunk

Attach battery power to the alternator output wire under the hood and open the trunk as you normally would as now you should have power for the trunk opener.DO NOT try to start the car using this method.

Many o2 sensors have gone bad but 50% of the time when a code is set on a car about an o2 sensor there is another cause which is changing the emissions & setting the o2 code (ex. vacuum leak, bad plug, injector, it could very well be the cat etc.) The root cause of the problem must be found NOT JUST READING CODES! TAKE YOUR CAR ELSWHERE.

How to clean air filter on 1999 jag xj8

If it is a standard fit paper filter then you can only shake any debris off as these are only supposed to be replaced.

Its inside the fuse/relay box under the bonnet and it is relay R1.

sounds like the transmission fluid is low get the level checked first.hope this helps

2004 XJ8 - When l lock the car remotely, the doors will not lock and instead all the windows and sun roof opens up. l am able to lock the doors centrally with the key.

sounds like its a module programme issue or a faulty door module/wiring poss wiring around the door hinge area my advise is to find someone with suitable jag diagnostic equipment to help good luck

2004 xj8 jaguar how to remove power steering pump

All you do is take off pump drive pulley (3) bolts, remove upper radiator hose off of radiator, upper cooling transmissiion line to give you more room and two bolts hold on the pump. Remove high pressure hose and reservoir hose
