Have you replaced the fuel filter . A clogged fuel filter can cause fuel filter can cause poor power problems . Try to accelerate quickly and see it the engine cuts out as it is running out of gas . If it does change the filter . Hope this corrects the problem

I have an 04 hyundai elantra. When im driving slow (0-40mph) you can hear a grinding noise coming from the front driver side, but when i speed up on the highway or anything there is no more noise. it

This could be the brake pads dragging or it could be a wheel bearing. You can check one or the other. The wheel bearing is tested by jacking up the car with that wheel off the ground and see if you can rock the wheel side to side or up and down. The way to check the brakes is to take the wheel off and look at the brake pads.

2004 hyundai elantra sedan check engine light on, 1st try at autozone gave P2251 followed by P0420, I reset the car computer to check if it comes back and it did after nearly 100 miles. second try at

The codes that i have pulled out relates to Oxygen sensor and Catalyst converter faults. P0420: Catalytic converter system,Bank 1,efficiency below threshold. P2251: Heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S)1, Bank 1, negative current control open circuit. But not necessary the faults. You need to run the scope to see wht patterns u get on the oxygen sensor, and on the obd scanner you may be able to pick up oxygen sensor coming on and going off or rich or lean mixture and the mvolts of the sensor. Also check if the wires are not broken on the sensor. Sometimes a clogged O2 sensor can cause these problems.

Why wont driver side front axle come out of transmission

You need a piece of wood against the tranaxle case, to protect it Then use a 3 foot pry bar behind the axle & snap it, so the Cir Clip comes loose & out of the trans side gear Going back together is tricky but easier

My Hyundai Elantra 2004 is 136,000 miles, it has an acceleration problem at the start when on full Air Conditioning on. No problems as such when already in motion.

hard to trouble shoot but it seems theres a electrical issue or you ISC (idle speed control) is going bad because this valve closes and opens when the a/c is on or the power steering is in use at idle, did you check for OBD2 codes? try cleaning the throttle body with some carb cleaner and also the ISC valve, heres a pic of what it looks like you will have to remove the air cleaner and next to the throttle body you will see this valve it's also common for they to fail after high milage. 8c20131c-3462-4e35-a289-efd73302b11a.jpg good luck!
