Iload

It is in your fuse box.First locate your fuse box.If you have the car manual in the glove box it will show you exactly where it is, if not look in your fuse box it is usually a 10 or 5 amp fuse.the cigarette lighter is sometimes the same fuse as your dome light. But check the lower amp fuses first.

1993 hyundai sonata has check engine light on and is stuck in limp mode and wont shift out of second gear

the .pcm puts it in limp mode and it will stay in mode until light is turned off. You need to get the trouble code, repair it, erase the codes (with a scanner that retrieves the codes), and then you will be out of limp home mode.

Gave so much noise like grinding rotor in my sonata

Check your brake pads, may be worn down to the rivets. If the pad wear is uneven from the other side, or from outer pad to inner pad, you need to have that checked for a problem with the brakes.

Squeaking in rear (maybe over shocks) when going over bumps

be looking at suspension bushings..put the car on a lift that suspends the ties like a tire shop and spray all the bushings and suspension joints with wd40 or similar spray lube.. or take it to rapid lube for lube service..its cheaper and will not be as hard for you personally..

Does tapping on the starter work to start the car?

If it turns over, its not your starter. Fuel system or ignition system must be at fault. Test to make sure you have enough fuel pressure. If pressure is ok, its your ignition system. Fuel system consistes of fuel filter, fuel pump relay, and fuel pump. As far as ignition, check coil, ignition module, cap, wires, sparkplugs, and rotory button if so equipped.

What are the symptoms of a starter going bad in a 2001 hyundai sonata

If your engine turns over, its not your starter, so im not going to include the location for now. If it turns over, but don't start up, then its either an igniton or fuel problem. First thing I would do is have the fuel pressure checked. If the pressure is ok, then move on to the igniton system. If you don't want to have the pressure checked, or if the pressure tests low, you will have to spend the money and buy a new fuel filter, and/or fuel pump relay, and/or fuel pump. Igniton system consists of the coil, ignition module, sparkplugs, plug wires, distrubter cap and rotor button (if your car has one, as some may not).

No heat turned on but no heat coming out

Try turning on the heat and see if heat comes out? If you turn on the heat and cold air blows you may have a bad heater core. More than likely a repair shop would need to fix it.

How to replace window regulator driver side 2001 hyundia sonta

Before you condemn the regulator, test for power at the power motor plug. If it does, and the regulator doesn't go up or down your problem is gear on direct drive or plastic chain on non-direct drive. But if non above mention is the problem then it's the regulator assembly that needs to replace. Follow this removal procedure with the special spoon frying tool remove door paneling gently, to avoid damage on pop up clips, remove window switch control, remove grab handle control, electrical harnesses and finally, you will see the entire view of your mission. Note: the window must be on down position to be able the glass first, next is your window regulator assembly. Good luck to you.
