The HVAC blower became intermittent for about 15 minutes then just stopped working.
I've read the post at:
http://www.fixya.com/cars/t1580493-hvac
I pulled out the blower motor - measured well less than 1 Ohm across the blower contacts.
I measured the voltage across the wire harness connectors to the blower, but even with the switch turned on - I didn't see any voltage on several switch settings. Unfortunately I can't recall if I put the switch all the way to high or not.
Reconnected the wire harness to the blower and tried again - still no movement.
Pulled out the hvac console to clean the contacts on the fan speed switch - boy are those some pesky tabs to pry apart at times! Contacts on the switch didn't look bad, cleaned them a little they look fine now. Placed it back in the dash.
Still not working.
I've looked at the location of the 'resistor card' in the diagram, but I guess I'll have to see if look up underneath the passenger side will even allow me to see the resistor card screws (then I can consider what flex tool I'll need to buy to get them).
What measurements can I take to isolate the problem?
To the resistor card?
if the resistor card is bad you will only have setting 4 high on the blower and no other speeds, the resistor card is under the passenger side glove box by the center console way up there, i think its a phillips head,if i remeber right not too hard to get to,,, if no high speed then the fan motor is bad, thats under the wiper cowl under the hood,u gotta remove the wiper cowl to replace it

2000 saturn power windows, driver window does not work. Is this a switch? can I fix myself?
you would first have to make sure it is switch.Motors and regulators go out often. Does the drivers door switch operate passenger side ok? Can you hear any noise when switch is is up or down position? You would want to make sure all of this first. Door panel controls are easy to replace but you really want to remove panel and make sure you have good motor and window regulator.

sun roof leaking water
How to Repair a Leaking Car Sunroof
Repairing a leaky sunroof usually leads to discovering that the sunroof is not the culprit of the leak. Instead dirt and debris may be the likely culprits since they obstruct the drainage tubes or the drain channel that are part of the sunroof's water management system. Once these are obstructed, the water backs up and heads for the nearest escape, which may be to the interior of your car. The following instructions are to help you repair a leaking car sun roof.
also for more help.
How to Check a Sunroof for Leaks
There's nothing nicer than a sunroof in your car, especially on a spring or summer day. Open the sunroof and enjoy the fresh breeze. But check a sunroof carefully for leaks before you buy a used car. It's just good business.
1)Open the sunroof to check for leaks when you are shopping for a used vehicle. First of all, make sure the sunroof opens smoothly and closes securely. A good, snug fit with no cracks or lop-sided setting is a good indication that it won't leak.2)Look carefully around the inside edges of the roof of the car where the sunroof opens. Check a sunroof for leaks by making sure there are no signs of rust or corroded metal around the opening edges. Of course, examine this area while the sunroof is open so that you see all areas on the sunroof opening's edges.3)Check the ceiling inside the vehicle when you check a sunroof for leaks. Look for signs of water stains around the inside ceiling lining of the car at the sunroof's site. Ceiling fabric at the site of the sunroof or around the area of the sunroof that looks spotted or has slight color variations may indicate a sunroof leak.4)See if the car's headliner (the ceiling fabric) is sagging. A leaking sunroof may cause water to run inside the headliner. Water buildup causes the headliner to sag over time.5)Examine the floor of the vehicle carefully when you check a sunroof for leaks. Damp carpet or a mildew smell may indicate a leaking sunroof. Also, look for water stains on seats where water may drip down from the sunroof.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated. please do rate the solution positively

security system light flashing , no service codes , no start
The security light is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM. These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. There is where the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle.
