What is OBD Code P0401 2003 Lincoln

Insufficient EGR flow. Inspect all vaccum lines. If they all appear to be okay, I would replace your EGR valve. Relatively easy DIY job if you are careful not to hit other parts as access can be a little tight

2004 lincoln ls v8 key pad code location.

Unless the keypad code was written in your manual, the only place to find the code is to go to the dealership and pay to have it pulled from the computer

Etc engine fail safe mode

Have you replaced ignition coils on this car previously? If so, did you use OEM Motorcraft coils, not aftermarket? The aftermarket coils do not play well with the PCM on this car, causing it to do goofy things including having it go into the ETC Failsafe mode. This is likely your issue since coil issues are common on this car. If it is not, let me know

Engine miss

Have you replaced all 8 coils and plugs? I have found it best to replace all at once as one that is marginal makes the others work harder. Also, make sure that coil is Motorcraft brand and not aftermarket. The computer and aftermarket coils do not play well together

I have a 2003 lincoln ls 3.9 v8 the code shows that I have a 8th cylinder miss and a bad o2 sensor can the o2 sensor make my car miss and it doesn't miss all the time either

A faulty o2 sensor will not cause a misfire. This is exhaust related, which is more than likely due to a clogged catalytic converter, which was is likely due to your misfire leaving unburned fuel to go to the exhaust, which clogs the catalyst. You likely smell a rotten egg type smell in the car at times. Your misfire is likely another cylinder. The OBDII codes are not great at finding the cylinder of the misfire in this particular car. Your best bet is to replace all 8 coils and plugs at the same time with OEM Motorcraft coils only. One bad coil makes the others work harder, meaning if you replace them one at a time, you will be constantly chasing a misfire.

I have a miss but not all the time

check and separate all the HT leads as it may be cross firing through the wire insulation from touching each other. There are spacers available from a spares shop for this purpose.

Got a p1633 DTC. What does it mean.

From what I understand, it has to do with the "Keep Alive Power" having the circut interrupted. If the battery has been disconnected recently or if it has died, that would be the cause of it. If this isnt the case, I would inspect all wiring for any opens, shorts, blown fuses ect. The PCM being bad is also a possibility

Code p0303

P0303 is a misfire in cylider 3. This is almost always an ignition coil in this car. I would swap out all 8 with Motorcraft coils as well as spark plugs. If one is going, the others arent far behind and one bad one makes the others work harder.

2003 Lincoln Ls transmission problem

Pick the code that says TCM and fix that one first. IT is a pity that you did not have the codes read before you replaced the engine as you have no base data to compare the results with. Work with the codes until you have all the problems sorted out but I have a feeling that in all the codes you will find a common unit/ sensor that will be the root cause of the problems.

Check trans keeps coming on and trans over heating fan consantly runs

The lights come on because a trouble code has set in the transmission control. If you want to know why the light is on, you have to get the codes read. I would contact the trans shop that performed the service and advise them regarding the issue. There may be a correlation between their recent service and the current problem, and the suspicion of this is completely legitimate.

Car wont start just replaced starter no idea whats wrong

Try another key, you can also jump the solenoid under the hood on the passenger side, big terminal to the little terminal. Keep your hands clear of moving parts. This test will determine if the starter is bad ( or wiring to starter ) or if your ignition switch or related components are defective.
