There are typically two plugs on the side of the transmission one is the fill and the lower one it the drain. Fill until the top hole begins to leak oil as the oil level is to the max position.

Did you check to see if the motor is receiving power? If not, why not? If motor windings are definitely receiving power it could be that the motor bearings are stiff and need lubrication and cleaning. If they check out could be that motor windings are open and unit needs to be replaced.

is your security light flashing on the dash when this happens?

Any other tool? You have to drop the gas tank, there are special fuel line clamp tools that you need, you should have the tool to remove the fuel tank pump cover too.

The most common cause of failure is the rubber boot on the joint that is letting debris or water in the joint and letting grease out .If you are sure the boots and clamps on the boots are ok, then one of the shafts on the cv joint is out of balance or has a bad bearing.

your going to be twisting your body remove door handle and window switches than start from backseat( if front door) and pry carefully panel from retaining clips along lower and side than lay across front seat and start prying across bottom removing remaining clips pull away slightly than up to release the window channel and panel off look for a rod that is disconnected from latch

Needs to be replaced.

I would suspect one or more bad ignition ignitors and/ or bad spark plugs.

most ash trays are removed by pulling out then pressing down on the centre bit and continue pulling out as you pull it out you will notice the centre bit pop up a bit. this is the lock stop that prevents the tray from falling put as you pull it out

I had the same problem, it was the thermostat.

HOWEVER - also check that the fans come on, that you've got plenty of antifreeze, no leaks, etc.

From the erratic nature of the overheat, it's likely the thermostat.

When you take the old thermostat out, check and see if (after running it under cold water) opens up in a pot of hot water. Mine wouldn't.

most manufactures recommend changing timing belt at or around 60,000, if the belt breaks while operating the car it could cause serious engine damage

Paul is on the right ball - it sounds like fuel - turn over the engine with the pipe disconnected until the fuel comes through - if you don't succeed, consult a reputable shop - you need someone that knows what they are talking about to physically look at the car to solve the problem - this will save you a lot of time and expense. ?

just happened to my 05 Kia Optima. It needed a new coil pack.

look in engine bay for cruis control actuator it will have a wired cable connecting to the accelerator throttle in the engine bay follow it back to find unit. Check for any electrical plugs that may be loose. Check also the brake Switch above the brake pedal as the cruise control should have a tap on to the wires if this switch. if the wires come loose the cruise control may shut down. Also follow the wires on the actuator see if any fuses connected to them.
