check fuses as well as connections at the hatch

The most common issue for this concern is the rear lock assembly. The lock has a electrical actuator that locks and unlocks the lock assembly. WHen the actuator goes bad, it no longer can unlock the hatch. You will have to replace the lock assembly to fix this issue. The hard part is that you have to open the hatch to do this. Most of these cars have a manual unlock but you have to find it. Look at the bottom of the interior panel on the hatch, some come with a small cover plate that can come off, inside is a lever that can unlock the hatch. Its best to have the new part from the dealership so you can see what the lever looks like. If you do not have a cover plate, then you have to try and get the trim panel off so you can reach the release lever.

According to the service manual for my 2006 VUE, 2 bolts in front and 5 bolts behind the rear seat is all you need to remove to get the whole seat out. Removal of any components of the rear seat always starts with "remove the rear seat assembly".

Hi Troy: There is a horrible device called a BCM that is designed to drive us crazy. I'd suggest that you ask your nearest dealer if there is a history of it failing and causing the problem that you are expeiencing. Best of luck.

2006 2007 Saturn Vue Hybrid starter replacement

I am not super familiar with your car, but I have had to disassemble half of the car to get to the alternator on similar cars. I even had to take the front grill out to do some work under the hood of a Chevy Equinox. I found some great videos on YouTube. THERE IS A PLUG BEHIND THE RADIO SOUNDS LIKE YOU MIGHT HAVE A BAD CONNECTION TRY DISCONNECTING IT AND PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER THIS SHOULD HELP

IAC Idle Air Control valve

2 bolts not very hard. Book calls for 1.2 hours labor.

Oil in the cylinders is bad rings. On the top is bad valve cover seals, if the go threw the valve cover.

Could be fuel pump

Radiator fan needs testing. If you jump battery voltage to it does it run? If no, bad fan motor. If yes, could be fuse, relay, or more likely bad fan thermostat.

the ecm is getting conflicting readings form the wheel sensors for the stability control and consequently has reduced the speed until it is fixed IT is a good indication that what you have done is not good safety practice as it unbalances the centre of gravity of the vehicle If you did it to look "cool" it was a very uncool move

Hi Lee it's just a safety feature the wheel speed sensors pick up the difference. When you change the back ones or get correct size it will reset.

Dead battery, most likely.

Sounds as if your battery might be dead. If your alternator quit charging and you used all of the power in your battery, you car would act as you have described.

if nothing comes on check the battery has a charge and that the alternator belt is intact. If they are both fine check the fusebox has not suffered damage. Does anything come on when you turn the key? Sounds a bit odd but the battery/alternator is where you should make a start
