to be honest i dont know but look in middle of the front grill in case you have to put a key in like the early ford focus ,but some cars like the a merc can only be opened with a dealer software connection .This is to stop general mechanics from servicing the vehicle

why open hood? the battery is not there. look under the back seat,lift up back seat, you should see battery cables there. just like a mercedes, try old style boost or remove battery and replac with new,are you sure the belts are on? check to make sure, ok? thank you for choosing fixya,com

Sounds like an electrical short. Check all hot and moving surfaces to see if they are coming in contact with wires.

Hello okt..... No problem. Just go to an AAMCO repair shop or most auto parts stores where they now scan the car's computer for free trouble codes and let you know what the codes mean. BE SURE to ask them to reset the computer too, as this will turn off the light. That way if the light comes on again you can scan again to see if it is a valid trouble code or just a jumpy sensor.
