Crank sensor is getting hot needs replacement. Possible fuel pressure

michaelsciaryou get half a turn and cut out and try again and starts, I would be looking at the key recongnition ring at the ignition, the vehicle fobe mey loose the reading or it is difected, could also be that you are using the other key on the car and has a hard time recongnicing it. can also be a bad connection at the battery and or the starter motor. if only happings in the morning or after the vehicle has been parked 6 to 8 hours, I would also che you battery, but I would think that the battery has been replaced in 8 years I hope, well good luck. in Wilmington ma. unique foreign auto care at 611 main st.. tel 978-657-5300

crankshaft or camshaft position sensor an/or wiring problem, is it petrol or diesel? if its petrol check wiring at front of engine near crank pulley before changing sensor

well I feel bad for you now. P0340 is bank 2 catalytic converter efficiency below threshold. Road test the vehicle and bring it back into the shop, raise on lift while running, (don't shut it off) and use a temperature scan probe to check the temperature differential between the inlet and outlet of the catalytic converters, it must be at least 100 F difference inlet to outlet. If not, the catalyst is not functioning. replace it then.

If you get the message no phone then it may be just needed to get into the menu and activate it . Have a radio / phone shop have a look at it to get exact advice.

If the light stays on when your moving that shows a problem....I think that what your seeing is the computer testing the verious curcuits as its programmed to do
