Depends on how you drive, how long you let it warm up, etc. If it was getting say 20 mpg, it would use about 65 gallons to go 1294 miles (2082KM), Do you know how to check your fuel mileage? When you fill up, zero the trip meter, or write down the miles, next time you fill up, get a receipt with gallons (liters) on it and write down the miles, divide it by the number of gallons, this is miles per gallon. 200 miles divided by 10 gallons equals 20MPG . zero the trip odometer again and next tank you can figure it again. I write the miles on my reciepts so anytime I want I can check. Hope this helps.

MY CAR ACURA 2003STEREO ASKING FOR CODE
With out being too familiar with the unique features of the MDX, Is there a satilite radio equioed with the car, if so make sure thats not selected as your " input mode", in other words make sure its set to FM not SATALITE _______ . You could try disconnecting the head unit from the car for a few minutes, generaly you need to do this for AT LEAST 2 min, but maybe longer since most radio heads have a backup batery of some sort. I assume you read your owners manuel and there is nothing in there regarding this, other option, call an acura dealership and speak with a person in Service, there usually willing to talk on the phone for a few and let you know what the quick/or not so quick fix is. good luck.

Sounds like a bad install and the wiring might be crossed. But as they stated, without schematics, it's hard to know which wire is which. Acura should cooperated if the Honda dealer is authorized. Mention "small claims court" and see how fast they cooperate. BTW, the MDX and Pilot share alot of the schematics. i don't know why Honda can't play with it. I believe they don't want the liability.
